Third person POV
The man started the battle...
Two mountains flew at the demigods. Some were crushed on impact, others were sent tumbling out of the way. The battle was joined. Metal clashed on metal. Swords were deflected by shields and sometimes making contact with flesh. After a few minutes, all you could hear were the cries of the wounded and cries for help. Hellhounds charged, only to be repelled by a shield wall. Romans advanced in testudo formation, only to be smashed back when engaging the earthborne. The battle seemed to be at a standstill, neither side being able to get the advantage. Whenever a monster fell, another came to take it's place, whenever a demigod or soldier fell, another rushed to take his or her place. Chaos was everywhere. Just when the monster army seemed to be weakening by the tiniest margin, earthborne sprung out of the ground and rushed to help their comrades. The ground shook and the sea rumbled as a newly summoned cyclopes army joined the right flank while skeleton hands clawed their way out of the ground and fought on the left. Suddenly...
