"No, listen. I can't work like this, my schedule is too packed. You're not giving a break here, Jaemin." Renjun held his phone to his ear, speaking to the person on the other line.

"So...You want me to re-arrange it?" Jaemin questioned, as if he doesn't understand Renjun's frustration.

"Uh...Yeah?! Give some of my lessons to Kun, there's literally tons of people in the Mandarin department beside me."

Jaemin sounded out of it, "Alright, I get it. I'll send you your new schedule...again." Beep beep, the other line hung up. Didn't even said bye, rude.

Renjun stuffed his mobile phone inside his pant pocket, he grunted in irritation. After that talk with Yangyang, he immediately called Jaemin the next day.

Gathering his belongings, he proceeded to his workplace. Arriving at the language center, he made eye-contacts with the receptionist. The two glaring at each other, tension building up between them.

"Look at me like that again, I'll punch your pretty little face." Renjun held up his fist, threatening the other male. Jaemin leaned back, offended.

Unfortunately, he's alone today. Being the only tutor working on his floor. Yangyang doesn't work on sunday, the office across him was quiet. Worse, the whole hallway from start to finish was absolutely silenced.

There was no single trace of his students, his room was completely empty. He was supposed to be teaching Mandarin right now. Ding, his phone spoke up in his pocket.

Jaemin
I forgot, you got a private lesson
actually. My bad (・∀・)

Renjun
Should I grant you your death wish?

Jaemin
Bitch, I'll do it myself.

Checking the address that was sent to him, he grabbed his stuff and exited the building. Walking down the street for a while, occasionally rechecking the guide on google maps. He stopped in front of a small cream-colored two story house, a number on one of the front porch pillars—12.

Before ringing the doorbell, he double checked the address just to prevent getting cussed at by the house owner. The doorbell rang an almost ear-splitting sound, or maybe it's because he was standing up close.

The front door soon peeked open, "Yes?" A rather high-pitched voice spoke to him.

"Hi, I'm here to—" Renjun looked up, stopping mid sentence when he came face to face with the person. It was the one he met in those few visions he saw, finally, he's physically here to witness this beauty.

Donghyuck gazed back weirdly, "Uh...Are you one of those cult members again? I already told you that I'm not interested."

Renjun snapped out of his personal thoughts, "What? No, I'm here to teach Mandarin. Perhaps you're Lee Donghyuck?"

The other male expression immediately changed, he smiled brightly. "Oh! Renjun, right?" Hearing his name, Renjun nodded.

"Come in, come in." Donghyuck gestured, showing his more friendly side. The house was enough for an average family of four, but it doesn't seem like Donghyuck live with anyone. Fully furnished like a crowded place, but the house radiated a lonely vibe.

Renjun's sight ran places around the whole house, from the tv to the nice minimalistic kitchen then to the wooden stairs to the second floor.

"You live alone?" Renjun asked.

"Yeah, what about it?" Donghyuck replied, leading him upstairs to his room. The bed was all white, pillows to sheets, it would be such a bother to bleach it every single week. Monochrome bed look great, yes, but why white? Why would someone choose the easiest to dirties color?

Donghyuck's room was modern yet minimal, but decorating that style made the house look more vacant. "I don't know, it's just...the house is so big for one person to live in, don't you think?"

"Yeah, I understand your point. My parents bought this place for me after I graduated. I told them that it was too spacious for me, but they insisted, saying it's for my future as well once I meet my soulmate." He sat down on the floor, leaning against his bed.

Renjun sat down across Donghyuck, pulling his teaching binder from his bag. "Is it okay for you to teach on the floor? I'm totally fine if you want to teach me somewhere else, I just perfer the floor since it's the most comfortable spot for me."

Renjun gently grinned, "No, I'm fine. If it's comfortable for you then we'll have our lesson here." Continued to set up his items.

"Alright, shall we begin?" His first ever private lesson went very well, Donghyuck was slow at first but soon understood the basic with his guidance.

"Is there anything else you would like to know?" Renjun asked, cleaning up the papers from their little memory game.

Donghyuck giggled, "Could you possibly teach me some pick-up lines in Mandarin?"

Renjun's face heated up, "Pick-up lines?" The boy was so cute but kind of bold, asking for such thing on his first lesson.

"I think those are a lot more advanced, I'll teach 'em once you get better."

Donghyuck whined, "Come on, I want to use some of those on you!"

Renjun was caught of guard, externally taken back. "Go home, man." He joked. Donghyuck fell back, laughing his ass off on the floor. After exchanging numbers, Donghyuck finally allowed his tutor to leave.

Donghyuck grasped his slender hands, "Renjun, will I see you again?"

"We'll see each other as long as you keep learning Mandarin." He said softly. Tale as old as time, falling in love with someone at first sight. He wanted to see Donghyuck again, and even more happy knowing that Donghyuck wanted to see him as well.

"Alright, I'll be sure to study and make you proud!" Donghyuck giggled. Bidding the boy goodbye, he's off on his own once again.
