Wilma's pov
I started my day as usual even though it was my birthday. I went to the kitchen to take some buns when one of the maids suddenly said "Shouldn't you be preparing?" And I asked "I know it's my birthday but what does that change?" And that's when it hit me, today I had to go to the center border to meet the others.

I quickly took a bun or two and ran up to my room to get ready. I was almost done when I remembered that I forgot my necklace at the blacksmith yesterday. I rushed down to the stables and found my horse.

Ten minutes later I was standing in front of the blacksmith. I ran in and asked William (the blacksmith) "do you know where my necklace is?" He gave it to me and said "you gave it to me yesterday and said it needed some changes for today" I sighed in relief "thank you so much" I said while running back to my horse and riding home.

My mom wished me good luck while I rode away to the center border

Samuel's pov
I woke up in the middle of a field. I quickly looked around with my  eyes that was filled with sleep. I couldn't remember what happened yesterday it was all so blurred. I started to walk home even though I couldn't remember shit about anything. On my way home I walked through a forest with weird trees and plants I didn't really know where I was.

When I finally came back to the castle, every maid pulled me in to get me ready. But ready for what? I didn't know. My dad came in and I asked "what day is it today dad?" And his reply was "it's your birthday, Sam". I felt excited and asked "what are we doing today dad?" He looked at me weird and said "don't you remember that you're gonna meet the other kids from the other directions by center border?" I was speechless. I couldn't say anything, I was just sitting there and doing nothing. There was an awkward silence until my dad said "come on, Sam. Let's get you going".

He put me on my horse and said "goodbye"
