The Center Border

Emma's pov
I was riding down the river when I suddenly spotted a person! I knew I was close to the center border but not that close. The person was also sailing in a boat?! Why the hell would you sail in a boat to the center border. He was quite weird and I liked it.

I quietly rode over to him without him noticing me and said "Hi". He was about to jump out of his boat of bare shock. He quickly recovered and said "Hi who are you?" With a strange voice. I kindly replied "Hi I'm Emma, princess of East". And then it happened again but this time he actually jumped in the river. I jumped off my horse and helped him up when he said "I've never tried to be in another direction's land. Oh sorry for being rude I'm Nicolas, prince of North." "Nice to meet you Nicolas" I said in a funny voice and made water noises. "It's not funny" he replied "I just got scared". "Okay I understand" i said "come up on my horse and let's ride to the center".

We rode in silence until we could see the center "there it is" he yelled "I know" I replied. And we rode the last two hundred meters to the center.
Nicolas' pov
Me and Emma was the first ones to get here so we just waited. I tried to throw some jokes here and there but she weren't  reacting at all.

I just wanted to talk, but I didn't know what to say so I started at a weak spot without realizing what i said. "So my mom and dad said that East started the war. Is that true?" She looked at me with horror and almost yelled "i don't wanna talk about it!". "Okay miss grumpy I understand" I said to try to get a conversation flowing. "What did you just call me!" She yelled. Oh no I realized I've gone in on this all wrong I have to change the mood now!! "Ohh sorry I didn't know it would hit you hard, I'm sorry" I said with the most kind voice I had ever used. "No I'm sorry. I shouldn't had attacked you the way I did" she said. But that wasn't true she shouldn't apologize for something I took to far.

I opened my mouth, but she put her finger on my mouth and whispered "I think someone is coming". I quickly shut my mouth closed and held my breath. And there she was, the princess of West, just as beautiful as the rumors.
Wilma's pov
"Hi" I said watching two speechless humans. "Is something wrong?" I asked wondering if my hair was out of place. "Sorry your just so beaut-ow" the boy said while getting punched in the stomach by the girl.

"I'm Wilma princess of West, and you are?" I asked. The boy opened his mouth, but the girl was quicker. "This is Nicolas, prince of North, and I'm Emma, princess of East". She said with a strong voice.

"Why are there only one other horse?" I asked after noticing. This time Nicolas was faster "I came in a boat but I fell off and Emma gave me a ride the last kilometers" he said. WAIT WHAT he had been on East territory, okay gotta stay calm. "So you have been in East?" I asked trying to give him the happiest face I could bring. "Yes, it was quite fun" he answered.

"So where is the prince of South" I asked trying to sound as laidback as possible. "He hasn't shown yet" they said in the same time. And I wondered how he looked and also where he was. The meeting time 2pm and the time is now 1:59pm so where even is he?
Samuel's pov
What is the clock I thought while I rode through the forest. 1:59pm oh no I'm gonna be late and this is actually important. I sat my horse in gallop and got out of the forest 2:01pm and there the center border was.

I pictured the little annex in my mind. From the white paint to the black roof. And there right in the middle there was three people talking. I just overheard the last of someone's voice saying "I can't believe he's late that's really weird". And that was when I burst through the door and said "Prince Samuel of South to the rescue" I yelled.

One of the girls giggled a little while the other boy held the laugh back with all his power. The other girl looked annoyed and almost yelled "why the hell are you late!" "Sorry I got lost in the forest and just found my way out. But I'm here now" I said with a calm voice "well that's great huh" she said in a sarcastic voice. "I know you are the prince of North, but what about you two" I asked. "I'm the princess of East and she's the princess of West" The girl who had giggled said with a half serious half not voice. "Are we gonna start or what" I asked. The princess of West gave me a death stare and said "yeah let's begin" and so it started...
