Hawks released me in shock. I bolted away before they could do anything about it. I went back to my hideout after making sure they didn't follow me. It was in a forest of very tall trees. I went into it and flopped onto my bed after making sure Atrius had food and water.

Aizawa POV

He turned around and I sucked in a sharp breath. I thought the scar on his throat would have been the worst one on him but... This was so much worse... He took advantage of Hawks' distraction and bolted. I stumbled in a daze back to headquarters.

"Eraserhead? Why do you look like somethings wrong?" Nezu asked me, concern apparent in his voice.

"Let's go to the staff room... Call everyone there for a mission debriefing..." I said weakly. Thankfully Nezu didn't question me.

We got to the staff room where all the heroes were gathered, except for Endeavor.

I explained what we had been doing and what had happened. When I got to the part where he had shown us his scars, I faltered but then resumed quietly. After I finished I was met by stunned silence.

Finally someone spoke up. "Well we need to capture him then. We have to get him out of his household, in case the father is still there," Midnight said. Everyone agreed.

"Eraserhead will lead the team. Choose 3 heroes you want with you." Nezu said.

"Hmm... Midnight, Hawks, and... Mic. Alright team. Let's go over the game plan for tomorrow..." I said...

Izuku's POV

I yawned and jumped out of bed. I routinely check for intruders or signs someone had infiltrated my house. Nothing like usual... But after the encounter with the heroes last night I made sure to check twice. I went to my job for the day with my hair dyed purple this time and purple contacts in. I worked at a library. It wasn't too much pay but it kept me alive. Besides, I didn't have to worry about taxes because I didn't have a 'legal house' and I didn't use wifi or running water. I worked there for 7 hours (from 7am-2pm) and then went home. I changed into my vigilante gear and jumped out through the window again.

A few hours later...

I whistled, calling Atrius. I was in an alley and I wasn't sure what would happen so I wanted him by my side. When I saw a shape above me I made sure it was him by whistling three times. He answered with 2 squawks. I stood up and he landed on my shoulder. I stroked his feathers absentmindedly. I sighed, the heroes definitely wouldn't give up the chase now that they had seen my scars. I cursed the mistake I had made so stupidly. As I came back to reality I realized Atrius was squawking in my ear urgently. The second thing I noticed was that I had been using a knife to cut my wrist up. I used to have to do that when I made a mistake and apparently I hadn't rid myself of that habit.

"Sorry Atrius... Thanks for reminding me..." I signed sadly. I checked my wrist and saw there was a big hole, almost exposing the tendons. I winced at the sight of it. But it didn't hurt. Nothing hurt anymore. I grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and poured it on my wrist. I just studied the wound with bleak eyes. This part was supposed to hurt but it didn't... ehh whatever. Then I put a bandage on it.

"What should we do now, Atrius?" I signed.

He squawked and shook his head.

"No ideas? That's not like you." I joked with him. He turned away from me defiantly. My smile faded. Atrius had just acted like a human. 'That's not like you.' My voice played in my head again. I grabbed the hawk on my shoulder by the neck.

"Whoa! Calm down! There's no need to strangle my little buddy here! We managed to transfer some of Atrius' knowledge to him but it was me controlling him! Please don't hurt him, he's innocent." Hawks descended, worry apparent in his tone.
