The next day when Tubbo got to school, he saw Ranboo waiting in their normal spot and basically ran up and tackled him, happy to see he was okay. Tubbo almost started crying, relief flooding through him.

"Everything okay?" Ranboo asked, taken aback by the shorter's sudden attack. Tubbo looked at him, avoiding eye contact from Ranboo's sunglasses and his face was deadly straight. "We'll explain everything when were alone, okay? No one can know and you better explain why you weren't answering your phone last night."

Tubbo's sudden change of mood was startling, and he could see Ranboo's face become increasingly nervous. Eventually, Purpled showed up, going to hug Ranboo like Tubbo but a bit calmer. They waited for Tommy to get there, Tubbo and Purpled getting worried by how its taking the youngest such a long time.

When they finally spotted him, he looked terrible. He had bags under his eyes, his hair was a mess and his clothes looked like he just pulled them on, not caring how they looked. He came up to them and yawned, saying a small 'hi.' "You, okay?" Ranboo asked, not knowing about what had happened last night at his household, too involved in his own problems.

"Yeah. Let's just get to class, we'll talk later." Tommy said, walking into the school and to his locker. They all went to class, the school day becoming longer and longer as it went on. Neither of them felt like talking, opting to stay quiet the while day.

~~~~x~~~~
"Okay, we need to explain everything now. But if you could tell us why you weren't answering your phone last night it would be helpful." Purpled said, addressing Ranboo who looked even more scared. Tubbo noticed Tommy had been increasingly silent, which was definitely not normal for the blond. He guessed he was just scared. Its not everyday your house gets broken into and your life is in danger.
Well, not for normal people that is. But these teens and their families are far from normal.
"Okay. Um, so last night I got home, and Niki was waiting for me." Ranboo started, looking down to not have to face his best friends. "She was cleaning and found my bag and asked me a bunch of questions. I couldn't lie to her, so I told her the truth. She wasn't that mad, but she was just grateful she knew what was happening. I'm sorry I told her without asking you, but I didn't know what else to do, and I saw you were all offline. I didn't even realize you had called. I'm sorry." He finished.
The others were a bit taken aback by the fact Niki now knew about them, but they weren't as upset about that by the fact Ranboo said he didn't even hear the call.
"Its okay, we understand." Tubbo said, sending glares to the two others silently warning them to agree or else. "But what's weird is that you said you didn't realize we were online? We were online literally all night; I don't know how you didn't see. What time were you up until because we called you around eleven to twelve." Tubbo said, basically brainstorming out loud, but the others were used to it.
"Um, I was up with Niki talking until 1 am. But I kept checking to see and it always said you guys were offline." Ranboo replied. The three looked at each other, Ranboo being confused and then Tommy spoke up.
"We were trying to reach you to see if you were okay. Yesterday, my house was broken into by someone. We don't know who, but we know they took everything in my bag. I think its something from last week, but Tubbo and Purpled don't agree with me." Tommy said, not trying to hide the anger in his voice.
Ranboo looked shocked at the news, scared even. Tubbo was zoned out, putting everything together, Yesterday, he suspected it was just some normal robbery, but now a lot more has opened up. Apparently, they didn't look online to others, even if they kept checking their phones every 5 minutes.
"Wait, guys. Before we get into that, what if we were also hacked?" Tubbo voiced out loud, silencing the others. They pondered it for a second, before Tubbo explained himself. "Like, we kept checking our phones and calling Ranboo the whole time, but he said he didn't see that we were online the whole time. We were up at the same time, but we still couldn't contact each other. Tommy, what I'm saying is I don't think this was a normal robbery anymore. It was definitely planned."
He didn't know what to say after that, noticing Tommy try to hide his fear and concern with a small smile. "Well, that sucks." He said, frustrating the others.
"Tommy, you got robbed and someone is planning something. Stop pretending everything is okay. Maybe its time we tell more people? I mean, it went well with Ranboo, how bad could it go with the others?" Purpled said, getting frustrated with Tommy's seemingly good mood.
There was nothing good about the realization they had, and they all knew it. Tommy's face was red, either form embarrassment or anger, no one could really tell at this point.
"Why don't we head back to my house, maybe get Niki in on it and see where we go from there?" Ranboo suggested, noticing the tension between the others. Niki was always good at thinking rationally and calming people down. She, along with the rest of their families, were also experienced with these kinds of things, though not nearly as good as the teens.
There was no protest to his suggestion, so they climbed down from the tree and headed off to Ranboo's house, opting it would be better to talk in a confined place then where anyone could hear them in the park, even if it were basically abandoned.
They went in the door, locking it behind them. "Niki! Can we talk? The others are here!" Ranboo screamed, thinking Niki was in her room. They smelled something delicious from the kitchen. Niki hadn't responded in a couple minutes, which was a bit worrying, but she was also a very heavy sleeper so maybe she was just taking a nap.
"Why don't you go check her room and we'll look around the rest of the house?" Purpled asked, to which Ranboo nodded and headed up the stairs. Purpled went to the other side of the house, and Tubbo to the basement. Tommy went in the kitchen.
Tubbo found no sign of Niki in the basement, slowly going u the stairs, partially zoned out as he thought about all that was going on. They then heard Tommy scream for them to go to the kitchen, and all three teens ran.
Ranboo jumped down from the railing, as Purpled hurdled over the couch, Tubbo just sprinting to where they heard Tommy's voice come from. What they saw would be pretty normal to most people, but to these 4 children, it signaled something really bad.
There was a pan of freshly baked cookies sitting on the countertop, emitting the delicious smell. When you looked closer, there was the handle of a knife on the cutting board. Everything looked normal, but the knife was sticking right into the edge of the board, seemingly sharpened pretty recently. There was a small bit of what looked like fresh blood covering the sharp end, startling the boys.
Ranboo looked like he was on the verge of tears, as Purpled looked shell-shocked, anger running all over his face. Tommy looked terrified, not knowing what to do. Tubbo's emotions were all over the place. He didn't know whether he should be scared, angry or sad. All he knew was this was bad, and bad is never good.
"Shit."
