"That was the important venue you mentioned?"
Byakuya sips his coffee, watching Leon as he sits down across from him with a monster energy.
It was apparent that Yasuhiro and Sonia were indeed planning to propose to their significant others on the same night, and they also planned to have a double wedding which was Leon's band's venue they were in town for.
"Yeah! Sick, right?" Leon asks.
When Byakuya had realized that he would indeed be marrying Yasuhiro sometime in the future, it was a bit of a surprise, realizing oh my God, I'm gonna end up marrying this person one day. What was even more of a shock to Byakuya, was that the music was one that would be being played by a complete numskull.
"You better not mess anything up," Byakuya states.
"Don't worry about it man, the band is awesome! There's no way that we're gonna mess up!"
Now that Leon mentions it, Byakuya had never heard any of their band's music. He doesn't even know the band's name for crying out loud.
"So, since you seem to know when this event is, when is it exactly?" Byakuya inquires.
"Well, Hiro told me he guessed it would be a week or two from now, but I'm not sure. Ask him if you wanna know."
Byakuya nodded before taking a sip of his coffee.
Yasuhiro wasn't there at the moment. Earlier in the day, the group had decided to split into two groups for the day to plan bachelor and bachelorette parties for each of the couples. Yasuhiro left with Chiaki, Sayaka, Ibuki, and Mikan. Byakuya was left at home with Leon of course, Kyoko and Sonia who were talking in Sonia's room, and Makoto who was still asleep. Apparently, the band and each of their partners slept on the couch and living room floor the night prior.
"Leon, Byakuya, morning."
Byakuya turns to see the sleepy brunette walking into the kitchen rubbing sleep from his eyes.
"What did you just refer to me as?"
The only people who had ever called Byakuya by his given name were Yasuhiro, Sonia, Chiaki, and his father and siblings. It felt strange hearing it from Makoto's tongue.
"Well, soon enough there's either gonna be two Togami's or no Togami's, so I better start calling you Byakuya!" Makoto says, pouring himself a mug of coffee with an unimaginable amount of creamer and sugar, a thing Byakuya was repulsed by.
Ah, right. When two people get married, one takes the last name of the other. So... How the Hell would he and Yasuhiro do that!?
The realization struck a chord in Byakuya, as he immediately froze and sat staring into the blackness of his coffee.
"Yo, you alright? You're zoning out," Leon says, waving his hands in front of Byakuya's eyes.
"Hmm? Ah, yes. I'm fine."
"Hey Leon, can we talk in... Uhh... The car?" Makoto asks the ginger.
"No can do. The other's took it out while you were asleep," Leon says.
