We sat in silence for a bit until one of us actually picked up the courage to speak to one another but I took it on myself to do it "so darlin how come you're here" I said handing him back the teddy bear,
"Mam and dad only told me last week that I was adopted, and I wanted to know where I came from and I want to know why you have me up and I have plenty other questions too" I looked at Danny and he just shrugged his shoulders,great help!
"Right so where do u live?" He cleared his throat and looked down "North East London" my jaw dropped and I looked at Danny, Danny spoke up "mate does you're parents know you're here" he shook his head " I just told them I was going to the city with a couple for friends"
Danny looked at me again "right mate will u give us a minute yea well just be in the kitchen" he nodded and Danny helped me up we both walked Into the kitchen and Danny closed the door,
"Dan what are we gonna do we have to tell his parents we need to bring him home there going to be worried sick" I said putting my head in my hands while sitting down at the table Danny sighed and sat down "you didn't see it did u Mel?" I looked up at him "see what what are u on about"
"Mel,he brought an overnight bag with him" my jaw dropped this made me feel externally guilty "right so we need to ask him what's going on and we need to bring him home if he wants to get to know us that's fine but I can't answer any questions until he turns 16 but what I'm more scared about is how did he know where to find us?!?" Danny gave me a hug and we both walked back into the living room,
"Right darling, I know you want to be with us I know u want to stay but I'm so sorry you can't not until you're 16 I'm sorry now come on and well get you home and explain to you're parents yea" he nodded and Danny grabbed his keys and we got into the car
"Matthew,how did you find us" Danny asked as we drove out of the drive way "mam and dad gave me my birth cert and on the cert was Melissa fletcher and josh jackinson, so I thought that I would come find u both so what did you do after you have me up are you married" I looked at Danny in confusion and turned around to Matthew "honey I think you a little confused this isn't em.." I couldn't even say his name "you're dad this is my husband Danny" he looked in shock horror "so then where's my dad" I looked at Danny "I'm sorry I can't answer that without you're parents conceit I'm sorry" and I bowed my head and with that I sat back in the chair while Danny talked to Matthew about football I couldn't dig up that past yet I wasn't ready!
