After getting home, I started to get really nervous and anxious along with feeling guilty, I picked up the phone and rang tom and Gi,
15 mins later tom and Gi arrive at the door they left the girls with Carrie, as I told them it was important, I answered the door and led them into the sitting room and Danny brought out the drinks,
"So sis what up u sounded really weird on the phone what's happened?" I looked at Danny an he gave me a small smile with a nod of encouragement, I took a deep breath "Matthew arrived at the door today" gi looked stunned but tom burst out laughing "Mel matt comes to our house every second day what's the big deal" I shook my head "not that Matthew...my Matthew" his jaw dropped,
"As in Josh's Matthew like the one you gave up like 15 years ago that Matthew?" I nodded while sipping my tea "yep that's the one, he arrived at our door earlier with an overnight bag wanting to move in and when we brought him home he told us that he was going to be replaced because Lorraine-his adopted mother- is pregnant but when we told him that he couldn't stay he demanded to know why we have him up" I looked at Danny and he opened his mouth "so we arranged to meet Lorraine next week while Matthews at school to work something out but guys what do we do"
Tom and Gi looked at each other and Gi began to speak "well darlin there is nothing u can do really u can't take him in and ur not ment to see him until he's 16, plus carrie and Pete Ellie and Doug's weddings are coming up along with ur baby u have to cut contact with him until he's 16 I know it's hard to hear but it's the right thing to do" I nodded in agreement
It wasn't me I was worried about it was Matthew and Lorraine when we break the news to Matthew if he's anything like his father poor Lorraine could get the blunt if it and that's the last thing she needs right now!
