How long has it been?' you wonder as you wake up. Seth was snoring on the couch, and the pain was tolerable. 'It's so quiet, is there even anyone in the hospital?' you thought as you sat up straight. You grew bored and reached for the remote control on the nightstand next to your bed to turn on the television. To avoid waking up Seth, you turned down the volume. You turn on HTV and tune in to the show Flip or Flop.

When the nurse enters, "Good morning, Reyne. I hope you've had a good night's sleep. Here's what you're going to eat for breakfast!" With a sweet voice, she says and places the food on the table next to me.

 "I appreciate it..." As she checked your vitals, you replied.

 "Okay, you're all set! You'll be sent home tomorrow, but if you improve throughout the day, you might be able to return home today!" Seth wakes up as she leaves the room, she said excitedly.

 "Good morning, Seth; I hope you had a good night's sleep..." You whispered to him. He nodded slowly, you giggled over his tiredness.

{Leah's POV}

Since Jaslene hasn't visited Reyne or even checked in on her since the incident, I got up early to confront her. When I arrive at the house, I find Jaslene sitting on the coach, as if nothing had happened.

"You're kidding, right? Shouldn't you be in the hospital with your younger sister? She's fighting for her life Jaslene!  You've only been watching cringe TV shows on your big screen?!" I became angry and screamed at her. She went completely still, as if she had just seen a ghost. I was expecting a response from her, but nothing came out.

"So? Are you going to say things? Or, at the very least, prepare to go to the hospital?" I raised and lowered my eyes to her. I resisted the urge to mould her face at the time. She spoke just as I was about to walk away.

"That incident reminded me of what happened to my parents, so I can't. I couldn't help but think of my parents when I saw her..." She replied with a bittersweet tone.

"What about a wedding? You left us; she was looking forward to getting ready with you, but you chose to spend the time with Emily." I yelled at her once more.

"I was extremely jealous! She spends more time with you than she does to me!" I ended up cutting her off, "what exactly do you mean when you say I spend more time with her?! Jaslene, I've only been with her for a week! One week! You've spent eight years with her! Why should you be extremely jealous, when you've been gone for the majority of her childhood? I had to be with her because you weren't there for her!" I screamed because I couldn't take it anymore. I dashed outside and phased to avoid attacking Jaslene. I ran and ran, thinking to myself, 'I can't believe what was coming out of her mouth.'

I calmed down enough to walk back to my car after a while of running. I returned to my human form as I ran back. I looked through the windows to see if Jaslene was still sitting in front of the TV. She was, without a doubt, still watching television. I was sorry for what I had done, but I refused to apologize. Sam and Emily pull up the road just as I'm about to enter the house.

"Aren't you supposed to be with Reyne?"  Sam said with a heaviness in his voice.

"I asked Jaslene if she would like to come, but she refused. I'm getting ready to leave." I replied as I attempted to get into my car.

"Emily and I are checking in with Jaslene, so I'll come back later. I don't want her to do something that will ruin my day even more." I understood what he meant when he said 'doing something.' It caused me to second-guess everything I'd said to her.
