Love Isn't Just Towards One Person...

Chapter Six

As the newlywed couple walked down the aisle, everyone applauded. You take a look at Leah to see how she's doing. She appears to be both sad and relieved. It's as if you're letting go of something, but it hurts. I took her hand in mine and smiled warmly at her. "Let's go to the venue."  You said as everyone began to clean up the area. 

Seth rushed up to you and gave you a hug. "You look incredible!" he gasped as he hugged you. "Didn't you say that to me earlier this morning?" "Yeah, but I had to remind you," you chuckled. He winked at you as he said it.  You scrunched your face and said, "You know how to get me, don't you?"

"I apologize for bothering you, but we need to clean up this place. The venue will be ready in two hours." Alice said as she approached us. We agreed to help and clean the beach. The guys did the heavy lifting, while you mostly carried the chairs. I went to Leah's car, where she was waiting for us, after cleaning up.

"Are you all set to head to the location? That is technically our backyard ?" With a gleeful tone, you ask.

"Why didn't they just get married in our backyard? We didn't have to travel 30 minutes just to return to that location." She said it in an irritated tone and headed in the car. You looked at Seth as he was running up the car, "Don't annoy her, or she'll turn into a werewolf in the car," you both giggled. 

As you three returned to the house, the car was silent. You wanted to cheer Leah up, but you were afraid that if we said anything in the car, she would explode. It was noon and cloudy by the time we returned. The ground was still muddy and the area was still wet. As you stepped out of the car, you exclaimed, 'Great...' 

Emily approaches the three of you and takes a few steps towards you. "You guys look incredible, and Reyne, thank you for being the flower girl!" Emily gave you a hug. "You both need to change into skirts, and Seth, please remove your tuxedo and replace it with the suspender ones." As she walked back into the house. "I'll see you after I change?" You said as Leah drags you with her.

"Of course!"  Seth yelled as he shuffled towards the pack. You see Jaslene as soon as you walk in the house. She hasn't even waved, let alone said hello or good afternoon. You were frustrated because she ignored you. "

What a perfect wedding,"  as you walk in your room and flopped on your bed. You said sarcastically, "I wonder if my sister is even going to see me. I hate it!" You scream on your pillow. 

"It's strange to go to your ex's wedding, too." Leah said it in an irritated tone and then changed into the skirt Emily had provided. You stood up from your bed and got ready as well. Leah offered to fix your make-up and make it look fresh once more. She also pulled your hair back into a half bun. Leah's half ponytail was still in place.

The welcome party was about to begin. Seth, Leah, Paul, and Quil were at the table with you. As the two newlyweds walked down to their big table, everyone cheered. Everyone has a toast and a speech, which you didn't pay attention to because you were starving. Each table was assigned a number, and they were called one by one in order. Your table was labelled number 3. 

Paul and Quil were bugging you about Seth as Alice called the tables one by one. "You two should get married," Paul joked as he nodded at Quil. "So, when will Seth propose to you?" He said it again, but this time louder. 

He also began making fun of your voice and mocking you. "Stop it, both of you," Seth demanded. "Quiet down, both of you."  Leah said in an irritating tone. "You guys are driving me crazy, and it's not helping me relax." you said as you try to control yourself. "Come on, Reyne, you've both imprinted on each other; it's not fair that I can't tease both of you!" He laughed at you, and Quil joined Paul in his laughter.

"Three! Please come in and get your food!" On the microphone, Alice said. You were the first person to rise from your table. Paul trips you as you walk down the aisle, and you fall to the ground. From your head to your feet, you were drenched in mud. You were embarrassed, infuriated, and puzzled. 

"I'm so done with you, Paul!" you shouted, unable to contain yourself.

 You let out a scream and phased into a werewolf. Paul phased into a werewolf as well. In the background, you could hear people gasping and screaming. You were the one who attacked Paul first. Seth, Leah, and Sam were also phased, as they try to prevent Paul from attacking or killing you. Everyone relocated to a safer location, with some opting to stay inside the house. Paul tossed Seth across the backyard, causing him to collide with the large table where Emily ans Sam were sitting. Leah and Sam attempted to stop Paul but were unsuccessful and instead hit one another. You charged at Paul and attempted to bite his neck, but he bit your leg and threw you across the field, your back colliding with a tree. You were knocked out and yelped in pain. You un-phase and try to regain your breath. Sam tries to stop Paul from attacking you and succeeds. Leah and Seth un-phases and tries to help you.

 "Reyne! Wake up!" she said as she cried. Seth also cried, "Please, Reyne! Stay with us!". Those were the last sentences you heard before everything turned black. 

You didn't feel pain, you felt safe... You finally saw something, but you knew it was a dream. It was your Parents. It felt real, you couldn't say anything, so you ran and hugged them instead.

"Wasn't that a painful fall, Reyne?" Dad had questioned.

 You gave him a friendly nod. You hugged them once more. 'It's been a long time, and I don't want to let go of you.' you tried saying but your lips refused, you instead cry.

 "Would you like to stay with us or return back?" You nodded no and pointed to the end of the light when Mom asked if you wanted to stay with them.

After that, they led you to the tunnel, which you walked through. You turned around to see them together and happy behind you, but you dashed back to the light. You kept running and running, thinking to yourself, 'it felt like forever.' Finally, at the end of the light, there is a door. It took all of your strength to open the door, but you did it. You were once again surrounded by darkness, but this time you woke up in a hospital bed. Sam and Carlisle were standing at the end of the hospital bed, while Leah and Seth sat by the coach. Jaslene, as you might expect, did not join them at the coach. 'She most likely stayed with Emily,' you thought to yourself.

"Reyne!" As he dashed to the side of your bed, Sam yelled. You just stared at his face in pain as he caressed your face. He couldn't handle seeing you in such misery, so he exited the room.

Seth and Leah lean in to hug you but you groan in pain. "Guys, be careful. She's still in pain. She'll be able to talk in a few hours, maybe tomorrow." Carlisle said as he puts his hand on their shoulder. The backoff and giggle, you slowly smile at them. "We'll tell you everything once you're able to talk," Leah said as they both sat back the coach. You slowly fall asleep to ease the pain.
