Princess Eloisa Genevieve Marietta VonHagen has always dreamed of having a normal life. As a Princess, and the next in line for the throne of the small country of Estoura, not only is she always in the spotlight and forced to follow a strict schedul...
Chat Noir dropped me off on the roof of the mansion, and then I used Maane to sneak back into my room.
"Maane, Quiet Down." I de-transformed, wandering over to the small table by the door, only to find that a small plate of Beef Jerky had been placed there. I picked up a piece, holding it up to the small Kawami, who took it and happily bit into it. "I'm not crazy, right? You saw it too?"
"With all due respect Your Highness, I didn't see anything. I was in your pocket the whole time." He answered between bites.
"Ok, fair enough. But it was so obvious. The hair, the voice, the build. I mean, I spent a whole two-hour photo-shoot with the boy's arms wrapped around me in every conceivable way, I know what his arms feel like by now." I stated. "And if I figured that out after knowing him for a day how is it possible that no one else has?"
"You're an incredibly observant person, Eloisa. Not everyone picks up on things like that." I shrugged, sitting down on my bed.
"Yes, I suppose so..."
"Are you going to tell him? That you know his secret identity?" I shook my head.
"No...not yet, anyway. I like Adrien, and I don't want to make him uncomfortable by worrying about me exposing him."
"That is very thoughtful of you, though I would like to point out that technically speaking, he knows your secret identity too. It would be very unwise of you to rat him out when he could easily do the same. I believe the phrase is...Mutually Assured Destruction." I nodded in agreement.
"That may but true but...I want Adrien to be able to trust me. I have a feeling he doesn't have many of those people in his life. If he wants me to know, he'll tell me. Otherwise, I'm not going to bring it up." Maane finished his beef jerky, flying over to float in front of my face.
"Good choice. If your father were here right now, I'm sure he would be proud of your decision." I smiled, laying back on my bed so that I could stare at the ceiling.
"Should I tell Adrien who I am?" I questioned. "I mean, I know technically, he already knows but..."
"That is a question only you can answer. It is for you to decide whether or not he is someone you trust with your life. Though after only a day, it may be unwise to come to that conclusion now." I nodded.
"You're probably right. First impressions are almost always wrong. Adrien could be an entirely different person than the one I met today."
"Yes...like a Cat-themed super hero who makes atrocious puns." I chuckled, smiling at the Kawami.
"Well, I will say this...if he has a Miraculous, at least he has a Kawami to keep him company." Maane smiled, flying into my face and hugging my cheek. I laughed, placing a hand over him.

For school the next day, my outfit was a similar aesthetic to the day before. Since I normally wear a lot of colors back home, Mr. Agreste has given me numerous outfits made up of black, white, and crème colored tones. Today, it was a black pleated skirt, with a belt to match, a white dress shirt, a crème and black sweater vest to wear over the top, some black knee socks and a pair of Doc Marten combat boots.
