𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑, the car blew up you guys decided to catch a ride with anyone that would pick you guys up. nobody stop though. it was pouring so hard that people just wanna get to their destination as fast as they can and the car's fire had gone out but the car looked black as hell. you all took turns holding your thumbs out but did someone stop? nope, they just kept on going. eventually you guys started to give up. aki and denji were literally on the verge of falling asleep and power was playing with her cat, happily then eventually started cuddling with her cat. i guess nobody wanted to pick up 4 young adults on the side of the road, looking homeless. you decided to have a try since everyone failed, miserably.
"alright, i'll go since you guys don't care anymore." you say getting up and stuck your thumb out hoping someone would stop and fortunately, someone did. everyone looked at the car slowing down near you.
"y'all got somewhere to be? why y'all out here?" the man in the car spoke.
"yes, actually. we were going on vacation when our friend here crashed our car." you replied.
"really? well what happened? there's gotta be a reason why y'all ain't in ya car."
"you see, my friend needed to pee and she couldn't hold it so...yeah. that's what happened."
the man looked at you like you were crazy. he thought that a simple car accident occurred, not someone being stupid and not using the restroom before leaving to go on a long ass trip.
"is that so?"
"mhm!"
power woke up from her cuddles with her cat and noticed you were talking about the car accident. she got up and approached you. denji and aki tried to stop her but she ignored them.
"hey, y/n! are you trying to catch us a ride? that's so nice of you!" power shouted. the man noticed power, looked at you, then looked back at her.
"are you the 'friend' who couldn't hold it?" the man asked.
"yup! that's me! power the great! don't worry about me peeing in your car though. i pissed on myself when the car crashed!"
the man questioned power's choice of words but didn't care enough to comment on it. he looked back at your embarrass face and sighed.
"i'm so sorry about her, sir. if the offer still stands would you please give us a ride. wherever you are heading, i'm sure there is a resting stop there. when we get there, i could call my friends to see if she could pick us up!" you reassured, the man just stayed silent.
"how about it? can you drive us?"
the man sighed and replied, "nope." as he rolled up his window and drove off on the deserted road. you turned around slowly to looked at the group. power was smiling not realizing that the man probably found you guys weird and drove off, because of her.
