Prolouge~

Matt's POV

     It was a sunny day like it had always been. Same routine, Wake up, Stare at myself at the mirror,  Take a long bath, brush my teeth, Prepare a Toast and Butter, with Cofee, Then off to work.

It has been like that since my family were gone, I don't even remember how they looked or remembered their names. I had been alone for 4 years, Working my butt off at an Old Diner named "Rusty's" Well the name fitted well since its as old as Nostradamus, Well not as old but you get my point right?

The people i was working with was really helpful, thanks to them i found a cheap place to rent, Whenever i had financial problems because of a school project or something they're arms are open for me. They're like my second family. More like my real family now.

As i stepped inside i received a warm greet from everyone, Whenever im at this place i felt so loved and cared for. Everyone smiled at me when i made my way into the staff room to grab my apron and my cap,  Well we had few costumers and most of them are regulars here, so they all knew me.

When i arrived at the staff room, i opened up my locker and carefully got my things, well i wouldn't want the lockers to crash again, since it'd been there for 20 years, Which the manager told me. I slid the apron around my waist and tied a knot at the back, tapped on my cap, with a HUGE Rusty's logo on front, and scoured my locker for the pins on my apron, 'Ha!, Found them!'

One of the pins were given to me by our manager, Which had my name on it, "Matthew" Well i dont use my full name though, I'm more comfortable being titled as Matt. And the other pin which i bought at a guy in the mall, was silver and has the words engraved "Greater Power" I don't  even remember why i got it, It just caught my eyes.

After a Hours of work, Time for school, Yeah, i have a hectic schedule, after being exhausted at work, I needed to go to classes, i took afternoon classes cos' i didn't have any choice. Nothing special here at my school, it's just an ordinary school afterall, with bullies, nerds, jocks, cheerleaders, emo teens, and punk goths. I didn't belong with any of them, And didn't have any friends because i always pushed them away. Sorry for not being a people person.
