After texting Peter, without knowing it was Peter, obviously, tony turned his attention back to the meeting. That he defiantly SHOULD have been paying attention to.
But wasnt.
Luckily, it was only a meeting for the avengers, not S.I.
"So, are we all clear on that?" Nick Fury finished explaining.
Tony raised an eyebrow and slowly inched closer to bruce, who was sitting in front of him. "What...are we...talking...about...?" He whispered slowly, trying not the draw attention.
Bruce looked around to make sure no one noticed them whispering. Fury hated when people spoke during the meetings.
"We're talking...about...our next...mission." he said cautiously, talking with his hand covering his mouth.
Tony nodded, but slowly stopped. "What mission??" He asked, forgetting to keep quiet.
"Stark!" Fury yelled. All the avengers turned to Tony. Nat rolled her eyes. Bruce cringed. Steve sighed and scoffed. Clint tried hiding a snicker, and thor looked clueless.
