(A/n: I do not own this song, I do recommend it for this small part in the story though.)

"Jinsoku sprints with his fast legs, he is approaching the other team's line! What is he thinking?!" yelled the announcer.

The audience roared in cheers, all of them yelling the same name.

"GINTOKI! GINTOKI!" yelled the audience.

Below is the playing field, and in it was a short man running forwards towards a group of giants, his name: Gintoki Jinsoku, known as the genius runner, he ran with the ball in his hands.

The giants jumped to tackle the short man, however, it was in vain, like a magnet being repelled by the same polarity, Gintoki spun around the man and then sped up behind him, leaving the giant in the dust.

"Jinsoku does it again! He dodges the line completely and is about to reach the other side of the stage!!!" the announcer yelled excitedly.

"But now he has to deal with the tackling master of the other team! Will he go through?!" yelled the announcer, "The linebacker prepares to strike number 21!"

The man started speeding up, his legs started moving faster and faster, just as the linebacker got closer he sped up. The air around the whole arena was tense, the two teams could only stare at the two running at one another, now there was nothing either could do to help them, either the linebacker tackled the runner back, or the runningback ran past the linebacker and scored a touchdown.

Gintoki felt like he was going against a tiger; agile and strong his opponent was definitely the best of the best, every time he took a step forwards he could feel his heart pound faster, his stomach turn not only in fear but also in excitement. All he could do was run forwards and trust in his years of training.

The linebacker threw his arm towards him, Gintoki waited, the hands holding the ball shook as he waited for the arm to stretch further towards him, it felt like he was about to dodge a bullet, he patiently waited for the linebacker to stretch his arm almost to its full extent before spinning the opposite direction.

He widened his eyes the moment he saw the open field in front of him, he didn't think, he didn't need to think, all he needed to do was run, run and not stop, he ran and ran as fast as he could.

He ran forward, so why did he feel so heavy? Why did he feel so much pain?

His legs felt like they would give out, and his lungs felt like they were burning from the inside out, his chest felt like it had exploded and burnt itself. He ran towards the other side of the field, but he wasn't moving, for some reason, he couldn't move, he tried his hardest to move forwards, but he couldn't, he felt the world spin and then crash on his back.

'The sky?' he questioned Gintoki as the sun suddenly became obscure with a white helmet. In front of the sun was a tall man adjusting his glove, looking down at him.

"First down!" yelled the announcer as Gintoki slowly got up and stared at the other side of the field.

'Next time,' he said, glaring at the opposing linebacker, 'Next time I'll pass for sure.' he said, moving to his position.

"GO! 21!!!" yelled his teammates as he ran forwards with the ball in his hands.

"Here he comes! His famous cuts and spins! Some pros say he almost disappears while running!" yelled the announcer as Gintoki ran.
