Heyyy loves this is the first chapter of my first story so bear that in mind while you're reading hahaha. Hope you enjoyy! :")
-----------------------------------------------------------

Why does my permanently stressed mother always have to drag me with her everywhere she goes. I mean seriously even at that time of the month and she has an urge to take me literally everywhere as if resting isn't legal.

Today's destination is the small market in the small town that we live in. She wanted to top up on a few things which she could apparently not buy on her own. Oh and guess what...my brother's coming too. Does she think this counts as a family day out to make up for the lack of time we spend together as a family? Silence during the car journey as per usual but picking up my phone gave me evil stares that could literally burn through me. Gloomy weather, intermittent rain, cool breeze; the perfect weather for me because I don't have to leave the house and when I do I have an excuse to cover myself up. Exactly how it looked today. One good thing I guess.

"Rápido, por favor!" ("Quickly please!")

I guess we've reached the Mexican store; her voice wakes me up every time we pass by.

Drowsily I followed my mum and brother while they searched passionately for the items but I didn't care to be honest. Strolling mindlessly, like a child I became intrigued at anything remotely colourful. Pick up jars, cups and jugs, spin around, next aisle, repeat. In an attempt to step over the box of rice, my leg slammed straight into it making all the bags fall out.

Suddenly a loud laugh erupted behind me. I instantly turned my head and found a young looking boy clutching his stomach in painful glee, without caring about the embarrassment it cost me. I stared back in horror wondering how rude you could be to laugh at someone so openly. Angrily I bent over and scraped up everything I could, dumping them back into the box with his chuckling in the background. I evil eyed him and continued strolling around as if nothing had taken place.

"Qué pasa? Por qué te ríes?" ("What's going on? Why are you laughing?")

I didn't even bother to listen for his response, this day really couldn't get any worse.

"Sienna, where are you? Come to the checkout please."

I pulled my weight and finally encountered the boy that thought everything was so funny. Guys like that you'd expect to look rough and unkempt, but he was somehow...different. His skin was tanned which matched satisfyingly with his deep chocolate eyes. His overgrown dark hair flopped perfectly over his forehead, aligning just below his thick brows. In my admiration, I realised how much I was meant to dislike him and quickly turned away. Why did good-looking people think they could get away with everything?

After scanning all of the items he gave the receipt to my mum eyeing me in the process. He then proceeded to rip another receipt, scribbled something down and stuffed it in my pocket before I could react.

He winked and I scrunched up my face on the way out wondering who on earth this guy thought he was.

Pleased that my mum didn't bother to ask why he did that, I opened the sheet:

'Nice trip, next time tell me so I can record it.'

WHAT?! Who says that to someone? I felt my face heat up. He's lucky I didn't open this up while I was still there, it would've been a painful experience for him. In frustration I threw it out the window; unbothered about my mum's reaction I shut my eyes and scrambled out the car once we got home.

Straight to my bedroom I face planted my bed and laid there in the silence, though my thoughts were louder than loud.

Sooo that's it for the first chapter. I wanted to do something short just to see how it goes, I hope you enjoyed it enough to read on to the next one
