"Shane, hurry up!"
"Dude hold up. I already texted Cal that we were going over there. Well technically she thinks we are still in Houston." Shane yelled from the other side of the store. Yeah we are showing up a little earlier than what we were suppose to. Luckily we were the only ones here.
"Sorry man, but I'm sure you're feeling anxious too. Think about it you're actually following the girl you fell in love with all the way to California, and you're going to tell her that you love her. At least you talk with her." I turned and saw him walking towards the cashier giving me a sympathetic smile.
"Hey, don't worry you'll start talking to Esmi now. Maybe take her on a romantic date or something."
"I would have a couple of months ago if some guy wasn't dancing with her at the dance."

"Hey who's going to the costume party." Shane asked.
"Not me man, who even goes to those any more." Jace says. I was with our usual group. Shane, me, Ryan, and Jace.
"Hey just cuz we're seniors doesn't mean anything. We can go out and have fun, plus it's a party and are you really saying no to a party?" Ryan was right, we never say no to a party.
"I'll go." Once I said that Shane turned to me and said,
"Well maybe now you will have the guts to talk to Es. She's going. I just bought her the costume."
He can't be serious. The guys don't even know I've had the hugest crush on Es since the beginning of the year. They are sure to laugh when they hear this.
She was the quite girl in the back of the class. The smart girl that only talks when she needs to. I on the other hand was the popular jock/player. I know cliché but can you blame me she's beautiful. I had her for a few classes since she was ahead in most of them. I even became the class clown just to get her attention but I'm not sure she'll even remember me.
"Woah, wait. Are you talking about Esmi Aguilera? As in Callie's shy little sister?"
"The nerd?"
"Guys." they all looked up at Shane.
"She's super nice and cool. Plus she has an amazing voice so leave her alone. Now get out, I need to talk to Aiden."
After they left the room Shane looked at me.
"Dude why couldn't you just go up to her and say hi."
"I'm not even sure she knows who I am. She never looked my way. Even when I was hanging out with you and Callie, she didn't even notice me."
"Look just talk to her on Friday. She's going to be wearing a dark angel suit." I just nodded and left. I need a costume.

Today's the dance and I have my costume. Prince Charming. Haha, I couldn't really find anything since everyone in town is going so most of the costumes were out.
"Shane you ready?"
"Yeah. Well that's a surprise who's Prince Charming are you going to be tonight." He asking while giving me that knowing smirk and wink.
"Yeah yeah. Let's just go we're already late to that matter."
We arrived at the dance and it was packed. People were everywhere dancing, talking, or eating.
