I'm watching the video, over and over again. Even though it has been around a month I still remember that day like it was yesterday. Her smile, those big brown eyes, but her voice just takes me places.
She sings with so much passion and heart that it brings tears to my eyes every time.
"Yo Keaton" Callie said walking in. I turn around to see her smirking, why I don't know.
"Yeah?"
"Are you watching the Dark Angel?"
"Haha, what her voice is amazing." I shrugged.
"Hmm, what would you do if you found her?"
"I don't know really. I mean I met her in the dance, I was dancing with her, she was pretty interesting."
She nodded then changed the topic.
"Okay well I came to ask you if you wanted to hang out with Es while I'm gone, I don't want her to be alone." she asked with a puppy dog face.
"Sure no problem. Um are by any chance going with Wes anywhere?" she blushed and walked out. Okay I'm taking that as a yes.
Wes got a thing for her and since we are off for about 2 to 3 months he's trying to get to know her.
I on the other hand really don't have a thing for anyone other than my Cinderella, even though I only knew her for a few hours I know my heart belongs to her. My Dark Angel, though Es is cool, she to me is more of a friend.
I get up and go next door to see Es on the couch, watching The Walking Dead, and eating chips.
"Hey"
"Shh, it's on."
Okay guess this girl loves this show.
"Mind if I watch it with you?"
She shook her head and said, "We could watch it from the beginning if you want, I'm having a whole marathon since Callie's not coming back until night fall. Plus she hates this show." I nodded.
------few hours later-------
"that was... interesting?"
"you didn't like it?" I shook my head.
"no yeah it was good." she smiled.
"so what do you want to do?" she shrugged.
"I'm kind of hungry. Is there any good places here to eat?" I thought for a moment.
"we can go eat at In-N-Out burgers." I knew she didn't know what that was just by the look on her face but she agreed. We got into one of her Camaros and drove off.
We turned on the radio and Dark Angel's cover of unconditionally came on. I need to find her. Maybe I should announce that I''ll give a reward if she showed herself. Yeah I can set up a contest or something. I didn't tell the guys but when she ran off she dropped a silver infinity bracelet.
I looked at Es but she had her gaze fixed on her wrist. She gasped and took out her phone. Okay?
Es POV
I came out on the radio and I was freaking on the inside. The song reminded me of something. I looked at my wrist and gasped. My bracelet! That's what's missing. I took out my phone and texted Callie.
me: CALLIE!!!!! MY BRACELET!!!! ITS MISSING!!
I saw we arrived at the restaurant. Keaton parked the car and opened the door for me. I blushed.
"such a gentlemen." he smiled and we walked inside. He got us a table and ordered for me since I didn't know what to order. My phone vibrated and saw it was Callie.
CALLIEFORNIA: maybe you left it back in Houston or didn't unpack it? chill we'll find it.
me- Callie it was the one I wore at the dance.
CALLIEFORNIA: WHAT!?!? Esmi OMG.. that's the one I got u! how can u be so careless!?!? ugh okaii we'll find it. just chill. we'll talk when we both get home.
I sighed but didn't text back. I saw the waitress coming with our food. It looked like she was trying to flirt with Keaton but he ignored her. I rolled my eyes. She gave up and walked away.
"Es are you okay? You seem out of it."
"uh yeah I'm fine. don't worry about it." he opened his mouth to say something but thought again and closed it. After we ate we decided to take a walk on the beach.
"I want to find her."
"who?"
"Dark Angel. She dropped something at the dance before she ran off with the devil girl that danced with Wes and who ever guesses it is her. Plus they have to sing and if it matches then I know it's her." I gulped.
"can you girls help? I'm hoping I can do this at the mall or here at the beach. Maybe you can audition too. Imagine it was you guys all along. That'd be cool." If only you knew it is us. Ohh so Wes was the one that danced with Callie..... Well that's something I didn't know.
