Trapped

This chapter was requested by @Ushasumanth, so I am brainstorming a few chapters so a few of my own will be coming soon! This chapter takes place at the end of the gathering where Katooni is trapped and Petro is still looking for his crystal.

Katooni POV:

I had finally found my crystal, I looked down that giant wall of ice I had just climbed. I had to be careful when I leaned to look down, last thing I needed was to lean to far and fall flat on my back and kill myself!  "Well, that's gonna take too long." I said while looking down, Looks like I am gonna have to find another route. 

I kept walking, it honestly felt like I was going in circles until I slipped, and I heard the worst thing. The ice floor started cracking, then next thing I knew, I fell flat on my back. My back hurt and I had the worst headache. I decided to shrug it off even though it really hurt. But that is when realized was trapped.  "Oh, no!"

Petro POV:

Dang, I was still looking for my crystal and I was also running out of time. But why did hear the whispers of a voice, it sounded like.....Katooni's! I ran in the direction of the the voice and later found Katooni was trapped but she was in a bad condition. Her lips were blue and her skin had small specks of ice, it looked like she had been there for a while then collapsed. I knew I still had to find my crystal but Katooni was more important to my right now..but...I'm not sure why? I had focused all my power and I was able to break through. 

But when I got to Katooni I touched her skin and, it was freezing. I picked her up and then set her down outside the little cave she was trapped in, so I was able to check her pulse. She had one, but it was weak. I was afraid Katooni would die in my own hands because I could not get to her in time. 

But when I got up, I saw something flashing in the mix of the shards of ice. It was my crystal! Well, found my crystal, but I needed to find a way out of here. I carried Katooni on my back, we had finally reached the door and it was frozen over. I had set Katooni down, again an I used all my power to break the door. "AAAAAHHHHHH!" I was finally able to break through! I grabbed Katooni and we got her to the med-bay on the ship. She was in the bacta tank for at least an hour. 

When she got out, I rushed over to her bedside.

Katooni POV:

When I woke up, I turned my head I saw Petro. He smiled at me but then it faded as he said "I'm sorry I couldn't get to you in time."  I remember falling into a small cave but that was about it, but I said "Oh, it's ok." I did not want Petro to blame himself for whatever happened to me.

Tears fell from his face and his voiced kind of cracked as he said  "I was afraid you would be dead. Katooni, I love you." When he said that tears also started falling from my eyes as well, and then, he made sure nobody was around, and he kissed me!

"I love you Katooni." he said after we parted 

"I love you too, Petro" I said with a smile
