Rebecca's Summer Romance.

chapter 7

I had been in my room all day long, I wasn't ready to face my parents. But I knew I would have to eventually.i grabbed my iPhone that was on the ground next to my bed,I checked to see if I had any missed messages. Then I glared at the clock and it red 5:00 p.m.i decided to go for a run. I threw on leggings,and a t-shirt.I grabbed my iPhone and headed downstairs toward the front door.

I threw on my converse shoes then opened the door to get out.when I stepped out,it was cold and the breeze felt amazing.i took out my iPhone and connected earbuds,then I put the earbuds in my ear and hit play on my iPhone so music started playing and I started off running.

The wind was blowing,it was chilly and I was running and got lost in my music I was listening to "Boyfriend by big time rush. I started to hum. Along to the music.

"That you're looking for a boyfriend I see that don't gimme time to know I'm gonna be that don't be scared come put your trust in m can't you see all I really want is to be your boyfriend."

I was caught up in the music,trying to run to the beat if the music.i was running out of breath so I went to go sit down on a bench that was in sight. I took the earbuds out of my ears,wrapped it around my iPhone and sat it next to be. I just sat there staring and letting the wind blow.i closed my eyes to try to relax.

"Are you lost?"

I heard a voice say coming near I quickly shot my eyes open to see who it was.it a boy about my age with dark brown hair.He was cute. He had on shorts and a white shirt with a hoodie.

"No,I was just going for a run,but I got tired so I took a break".I say.

"Mind if I sit.He asked.and I nodded.

"I'm Toby my the way and he held out his hand for me to shake.

"Im Rebecca,N--n to meet you.

He smiled and we sat in silence for awhile.soon he took off his hoodie and wrapped it around me. Then he looked down.

I smiled and turned to him "what was that for?"

"I don't know you just seemed cold,I couldn't help myself he said.

"Thanks,I mumbled softly.

He smiled down at the ground then looked up at me. We just sat staring into each others eyes in silence. I was nervous and shaky,Trying not to blush.

"Well I better get going". I said as I took off his hoodie handing it to him.i didn't make a sudden move I was about to turn and start walking,but then he grabbed my arm.I turned back around and he had the biggest smile in his face.

"What"I snapped.

"Nothing you are just beautiful"He said sweetly.

"Uh,thanks I think"I replied

don't blush Becca don't blush I thought in my head.

"So would you like to go out sometime?"he asked

I stared for a few mins, then said yes.

He smiled and let go of my arm and he reached in his pocket,grabbed his phone and reached it out to me.

"Mine,giving me your number?"he asked nicely

"Ugh sure" I grabbed took his phone and typed in my name and phone number then handed it back to him.

He looked down at the screen and smiled then looked back at me.

"Well see you around".he said and then he placed a kiss on my cheek and walked away. I stood there for a minute,shocked.

Then I started walking off home.
