Rebecca's Summer Romance.

Chapter 10

*Rebecca's Pov*

While I was having coffie we Toby I got a text from my mom.

To:Rebecca

Your dads been in a really bad crash,I need you home now.

From:Mom.

I tried not to cry in front of Toby and I was sad that we had to end our date early.After I said goodbye to to Toby,and left the coffie shop.i ran straight home,tears started pouring out of my eyes.when I got home I found my mom sitting on the couch with a bottle in her hand.

Everytime something and happens or she gets stressed out about something she starts to drink and think getting drunk solves her problems.i just rolled my eyes and went to sit next to her on the couch.when I sat she leaned her head on my shoulder and she started sobbing.i patted her head,putting some of her hair back saying that everything was going to be alright,and that dad will be fine. We sat there for minutes in silent all you can hear is crying.finally after moment she went quiet I looked down and she was sleeping.i carefully lifted her head up,grabbed one of those small couch pillows and laid her head on it.i spreaded a blanket on her and them i grabbed the bottle of vodka she had in her right hand and placed it on the side table next to the couch.i gave her a little kiss on the cheek and headed up the stairs to my room.when I got to my room I grabbed this photo album From under my bed.i started looking through it finding pictures of mom,dad and me.tears started down my cheeks.i just hope dad is okay.i found this one picture of when me and dad were at the beach and we were wearing big funny glasses and hats I took the picture out of the photo album and places it to my chest and load down in my bed and sobbed until I fell asleep.

I woke up with puffy eyes,messy hair and a massive headache.i was terriable. I went down stairs to find my mother still asleep on the couch and I found that the vodka bottle was empty.she must have woken up doing the night I thought.i was suppose to go and see dad yesterday but she didnt want to face him.i don't understand why she has to get drunk.i think she needs to get some help and I am determined to find her some.i want us to be a nice happy family.i want that happy ever after.well maybe not happy ever after but I Atleast want to have some kind of happiness in this family.i got lost in my thoughts as I headed back up the stairs not even wanting to eat breakfast.when I entered my room I grabbed my phone off my side table and sat down on my bed.i unlocked seeing tht I had 10 missed calls from Taylor and 3 text messages.i opened the first one and saw it was from Toby.

To Rebecca:

Hope everything is okay,in here if you need to talk okay.

From Toby.

I smiled at this message.i felt a little better that I had someone that I could talk to. I open the second one and was surprised at who it was from.Austin.

To Rebecca:

Hey,I was thinking if you wanted to go out this weekend.

From Austin.

Are you serious,he acts like he didnt even stood me up. I was hurt at the fact that he is taking advantage of me.

I opened the third text message and saw it was from a unknown number.

To Rebecca:

You think your dad is all pitch perfect,your wrong he deserved what he deserved.

I was scared,I read this message over and over.why would someone wanna hurt my father I didn't understand I instantly went into Tears.i once again cried myself to sleep.
