Chapter 9

*Rebecca Pov*

After i hung the phone up.i jumped up and down.i was extremely happy that Toby called and asked me out. I skipped up the stairs.but then I stopped at the last step.i thought of the last time I got asked out and got stood up.now my head was flowing with thoughts and questions.

What if he doesn't show up?

I don't wanna get hurt again.

Blah,I snapped out of my thoughts and then walked slowly to my room.i sat in my bed.suddenly I didn't even know if I wanted to go out.i laid down in my bed for a second,just closing my eyes and thinking.

Then I finally got up,I decided that I would give it a shot.i walked to my closet,looking for something to wear.i found a pair of ripped skinny jeans,a long sleeve shirt.i through my converse on and them i went into the bathroom and curled my hair,brushed my teeth and i also sprayed a little perfume..i put a Beanie on my head,grabbed my phone an keys,I rushed down the stairs and out the door.off to the cafe.

*Toby's Pov*

I was sitting at a booth,tabbing my fingers on the table waiting for Rebecca to arrive.when I heard the bells shake on the door,I instantly looked up hoping it would be Rebecca and it was.i had the biggest smile on my face.i thought she wouldn't have shown up I thought to myself.

As she made her way over to the table,I stood up and gave her with a hug.

"Hello Rebecca"I greeted.

"Hi"she replied shyly as she sat across from me in the booth.

"So....how are you "I asked?

"Um.I-I am great."she says.

I could tell she was nervous,she was stuttering with her words.but I have to admit I was more nervous the her.

"Uh,Toby she said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uh,sorry I was just thinking".i replied with a smile.

We sat there chatting for a bit,but then got interrupted by the sound of her cell phone going off.she quickly grabbed it and looked at the screen.i sensed a frown on her face as she looked at the screen,then she turned to me.

"Sorry,but I have to go"she says quickly getting up.

"Everything alright?i asked.

"Yes,j-just got to get home and help my mom out with something.

"Oh,ah okay."I said scratching my head.

"I really am sorry,but thank you for this"she says.

"No problem,see you around".i say giving her a goodbye hug.

"See you around"she says coming out of the hug.

She turned around and walked out of the shop.i payed for the coffie we got and them turned to leave the shop.i couldn't get her out of my mind.maybe she is the one ,but I just got to get to know her better.i got caught up in my thoughts as I drove home.
