Beautiful Mistake

Chapter 1

It was a sunny day in Southern North Carolina I was finalizing my packing list to make sure I had everything before being on my way to be dropped off by my mom to spend a week with my sister. My sister had moved to Indiana to continue to grow her family with her husband in his hometown & their now 2 year old daughter aka my niece Taylor. Since moving up there & having to work constantly I never get to see them as often as I did when they still lived in North Carolina.

"Mom I'm ready to go, I have all my stuffed packed up & in the car" I yelled as I walked out the door & piling all my bags in the backseat before hitting the road of the 2 & 1/2 hour car ride to my week of fun!

"All ready to go?" my mom asked as she got in the car & starting it up before driving out of the driveway.

The drive up there is always so beautiful especially in the fall but it's March so all the leaves are off the trees & the flowers are slowly blooming into spring. After the what felt like a never ending car ride we finally arrived at my grandma's house where my sister Kace & my beautiful niece stood waiting for me to get out the car & attack me with hugs! 

"Ugh I missed you so much, This week is gonna be so much fun" I said as I gave my sister the biggest hug like I haven't seen her in 5 months. 

"I Know I'm so excited" she said as she grabbed one of my bags to help bring inside. Our Grandma was on vacation to Florida so we had her bedroom with the big California king all to ourself.

As I was giving all my hug & kisses to Taylor, my mom had called over kace to talk to her privately, god only knows what was said to her knowing how my mom is.

After my mom talked to my sister & left. Me, My sister & Taylor, got into my sisters car & drove our way to our dad's house to drop off Taylor for the a couple days, while me & my sister made our way back to the house to get ready to hang out with one of her old high school friends she only sees when she's in town.

"Ready Anna? Oh you look cute!" she asked before completing my cute light sweater with a tank top underneath, along with my light wash jeans & white hightop converse outfit. 

"Thank you & yes I'm ready" I replied back to her. Her friend had came to our house and we all hopped in the car & headed to the bar & grill that was all the way in downtown.

Once we all finally got there we ended up eating & talking a lot while my sister was enjoying her first of a few drinks that night. I wasn't drinking because 1. it was a public place & I was underage. & 2. I knew I'd probably have to drive her home.

After a couple hours later we were leaving because the bar was closing so I gathered my group up & drove them home. 

once the kind of thrilling sneaking him in moment happened due to grandma's no one sleeps over rule. We had grabbed the cases of drinks we had stopped at the gas station for on our way home. After a bunch of random laughs & playing with our grandmas dogs Shock collar (don't ask) we all ended up passing out & going to sleep for the night.

Oh by the way I completely forgot to introduce my self, Hi I'm Annalise Scott! I'm a normal stuck at home, Single self at the age of 19 in boring North Carolina. Who is currently doing online college to be radiologist if my Modeling/Social media career doesn't work out. Through out this story you will learn what happened on this what I thought would be normal trip to see my sister that turned out to be something I can fortunately and unfortunately never forget. I'm also telling you story from a time in my life where I had felt so empty.
