It'a been a week since me & vinnie had talked. I haven't really been talking to anyone besides Layla.
"so why are you going to Los Angeles again may I ask?" Layla asks as she watches me purchase the flight tickets from North Carolina to California.
"Because I just need time to my self & to get my mind off what's been happening, & Plus we all know how bad I've been wanting to go out to LA."
"you're gonna come back though right?" Layla asked hoping I'd say yes.
"Yes layla. I'm gonna come back but I want to be able to get a good LA experience."
It's always been my dream to go out to Los Angeles, California the City in America where the light shine extra brighter, the waves are a little bigger & the stars come to life ever since I was little. Now that I'm taking this very needed opportunity to go, I'm not holding back what so ever. I'm gonna go see & do everything that's been on my to-do list in my wallet of my LA bucket list I had made when I was 15.
"and its final, Air bnb & flight are booked. I fly out to my dream city tomorrow bright & early." I told Layla as I smiled from ear to ear.
"well I'm gonna miss you & being able to be on zoom with you. but hey don't go find a new best friend." she said very stern but jokingly
"I won't Layla, no one could ever replace my favorite "crackhead"".
"Damn right, I'm the only Layla that will ever drink 4 monsters & be awake for god knows how long while also binge watching shameless & Grey's anatomy. the only "Unique" Person you'll ever know!"

We both just laughed & continued talking as I packed my suitcase for my new adventure tomorrow morning.
