Once in my hotel sleep captivated me and I slept like a baby. The night I had was tiring and could put anyone to sleep. It surprised me I didn't fall asleep at his place their and then.
He was the last thing on my mind before my eyes were heavy.
Waking up I heard the sound of my phone go off. I turned to answer it and saw it was my father. The phone already rang several times before I even woke up. I debated on answering him but wondered.
"What could he possibly want at 7 in the morning"
I clicked the answer button and placed the phone to my ear. My voice was groggy but I talked to him anyway. If father ever found out what I did he wouldn't be pleased, so my secret affair had to be under the radar.
Dad? My voice still very much tired.
"Adri? Have you found out anything new about Giovanni?" He asked his voice smooth.
No sorry dad i lied through my teeth. I felt bad for lying but I would never speak the truth to him.
