Double Date

10:23 am.

Deimos sleepily set his phone down and shut his eyes again, not really caring how late it was.

He was warm. That was unusual.

Wait, what?

His eyes snapped open and he was suddenly aware of where he was.

He must've passed out on the couch, he determined.

But he wasn't alone.

Sanford lay behind him, basically spooning the smaller male.

He appeared to be sound asleep, a small smile present on his face.

Deimos felt like he was on the verge of exploding. Was he dreaming? Was he really cuddling with the man of his dreams, otherwise known as his boyfriend?

Oh, right, yesterday actually happened.. Deimos thought, smiling.

Sanford's arm was wrapped around Deimos' chest, while the other supported his own head on the arm of the couch.

Deimos found himself hugging Sanford's arm the best he could in his current position.

Minutes passed.

A movement from the bigger male told Deimos' that his companion was stirring.

"Finally, you're awake!" Deimos laughed, earning a soft glare from the other.

"Good morning to you too." Sanford sat up with a yawn.

Deimos rolled off the couch and stood up. He sighed, grabbing his phone to check his messages.

"Eh?" Deimos said aloud, seeing a message from Hank.

"What's up?" Sanford asked. He stretched his body as he stood up as well.

"Hank messaged me." Deimos shrugged, tapping the message app.

"What for?"

"Ehh.." He read the message carefully.

Doc wants to know if you and Sanford wanted to meet us for breakfast.

"You wanna go out for breakfast?" He looked up at Sanford.

"Oh, sure. I'd have to get some nicer clothes though." Sanford replied, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You look fine dude." Deimos smiled, typing out a reply.

Yeah, sounds fun. Can I ask why Doc didn't message me? Not that I have a problem with you, just pure curiosity.

..Long story. Will tell you later. Be there in 20, usual place.

"Aight, we leave in five. Hope you're ready to walk." Deimos smirked.

"Look who's talking, I'm not carrying you again." Sanford scoffed.

"Aw, damn." The smaller pouted. "You're no fun."

"Let's just go."

"Alright, grumpy." Deimos teased.

Sanford snorted, holding his hand out for Deimos to hold as they left the house.
