How To Tell

I'm sorry if Hank and Doc seem out of character, this was really my first time writing them as main characters-

Fifth period.

Doc looked at Hank as the bell signaling the end of Lunch rang throughout the halls.

"Should we go find them?" Doc questioned, to which Hank simply shrugged.

"They're fine. Probably making out in a bathroom or something." They said as nonchalantly as possible.

"Fair enough." Doc grinned, standing up and gathering his stuff.

He was looking forward to his next class, which was science. He was always fascinated by anything the class had to offer, whether it be about the body or the world around them.

But today was gonna be even better since he had the class with Deimos, meaning he would be able to question the small man.

"I'll see you at 6th, Hank." Doc patted Hank's head, receiving a purr-like sound from the usually stoic person. He smiled and walked off, adjusting his mask in the process.

"Afternoon, Mr. West." Doc said as he entered the classroom.

"Good afternoon, 2B." The teacher replied, smiling at Doc.

He took his seat, watching the door as Deimos stumbled in, sitting quickly next to Doc.

"Well, you look like you had fun." Doc teased.

"Oh you have no idea.." Deimos chuckled, his cheeks bright pink.

Doc rested his head in his hands. "I assume Sanford has something to do with this?"

Deimos smiled, sighing. "Yeahh.."

"We've got all class." Doc insisted.

"Okay, okay, so, heh, uh, well, basically, we uh, heh-" Deimos cleared his throat. "Basically, something happened that led to him taking care of me in a bathroom, right? And- And so I told him what happened, during which I mentioned my sexuality, and he didn't really seem to notice until I mentioned it after. He was shirtless this entire time, mind you, and god he's so fucking hot- Eheh, anyways, he ended up leaving me after I kinda dropped that I liked him, which I was like really upset about, but then he texted me like five minutes later telling me to meet him in the same bathroom. Then- Then he fucking asked to kiss me. He asked! God- I- Ehehh.." He trailed off, covering his red face with his hands and giggling like a child.

"Well, now I know where he went after ditching us as lunch." Doc chuckled, smiling at his friend. "Are you two official?"

"Yeahh.." Deimos grinned.

"I'm happy for you two." Doc said, turning his attention to the lesson.

Looks like he'd be taking notes for two.

Again.

Hank sat in their class, groaning internally as they wrote down equations they'd never use in the future.

Okay, well, maybe they would, if they ended up staying with Doc like they planned to.

Who knows, maybe they'll need to know point slope to unlock a tablet.

The bell rang and the class responded instantly. Hank packed their stuff, grabbing their bag and walking out the door without saying a word.

They only ever really talked to Doc, Sanford on occasion, and Deimos was lucky to even get a peep out of the dude.
