Katniss pov

Katniss!!!!!!!!!!! GET IN HERE!!! " Yes Dad?" I squeak. " You forgot to clean the god damm house!"he slurrs. He grabs my hair . I yelp in pain. He lets go I stumble backwards and hit my head on the table. He takes off his belt. I try to scoot backwards but my back hits the wall. He comes towards me. He starts hitting me and kicking me over and over. The belt lashes against my back so many times I lost count. He punches me in the face. Something cracks in my side. I scream in pain.pain, pain, pain is all I feel. Finally peace. I blank out. When I wake up I'm still on the ground.

I try to get up but pain shoots through me like electricity on water. I bite my lip to keep from screaming. I get on my feet but that is all. My side feels like it was smashed between two Montrose boulder. I limp/walk to my bedroom. When I get there I can't take another step. The pain is too much to bear. I crumble to the ground. My vision is becoming blurry with pain. I can't get up no matter how much I want to. I just lay there in pain. I hear the door open and slam shut. My'dad' stumbles in. he has a bear bottle in his hand. He sees me. He comes over and kneels down to me. "Why aren't you ready for school?" I can't breathe without pain. So I can't say an answer. He pokes me in the side. I whimper trying to hold back a sceam. He laughs at this simple doing. He loves to hurt me. More than anything.

He does not love me at all if he did he would not beat me.

I do my best. But he doesn't care all he care about is drugs,alcohol and hurting me. If I ever get better I'm going to get out of this home called hell!

He is now poking me harder and I can't hold in a scream. I gasp for air. My lungs feel like they are crushed, they probably are. I can't stand the pain any more. So I just pass out.
