~Hailey's~ POV
The sweat trickled down my face. I was frozen. I didnt know what to do. "Why are you late." the teacher asked Me once again. "I, um, I was in the bathroom..."I mumbled. "Take a seat." she spat. I scanned the classroom for a seat, spotting one in front of a girl with pink hair right below her shoulders.

I hurried down the rows of seats to the back. I sat down and BAM!, I fell. Everyone in the classroom started laughing. The girl with pink hair that had pulled the chair away laughing the hardest. I could hear whispers all around the room. "Who is she anyway?" one said "Nobody sits in front of Bianca." Another said "What a dork!" said the others.

The teacher turned around sharply and silence fell. She stared at me intensely. "You, go to the office!" she screamed as she pointed at me. "But-" I half spoke. "Go!" she said annoyed I rushed out of the classroom. I stopped and leaned on one of the lockers as I thought of where the office was. I had no clue. I just wandered off down the hallway.

After what seemed like the fifth time in the same hall, I found a teacher walking towards me. "Umm, excuse me." I asked politely. "Where is the main office?"  "Down the hall to your left." she replied coldly.

I entered the office and saw the green eyed boy with the blue hair. "Hi," he smiled. I took a seat next to the boy and waited to be called. "So what are you here for?" he asked.

"Being late to class." I mumbled, a clear tone of annoyance in my voice.
"You?" I asked.

"I-" he put a thoughtful look on his face. "I put a whoopie cushion on his seat", he groaned. "Im not a delinquent I swear," he added laughing.

"Oh." I laughed. "Soo... How's it going Michael?

"Good I guess-" he said.

We sat in an uncomfortable awkward silence filled with side glances and staring at the floor. I actually wanted to talk. He was interesting. His blue hair messy but cute. He was weird, but in a good way.

"Are you going to the halloween dance?" he asked startling me, as I was in a deep train of thought.

"I don't think so. Im not a party kind of girl." I replied lying, I just don't think I fit in here, which is a rather quick judgement since it's my FIRST day.

"You should go, it's fun. Music, dancing, food, who doesn't like food! Especially PIZZA, I LOVE PIZZA!" he exclaimed. "What's your favorite pizza topping?" he continued.

"Umm, I like pepperoni." I said

"Cool, have you ever gone to Rico's Pizzeria?" he asked. I shook my head. "What! Really! Are you serious."

"They have the BEST pizza EVER! How about you and me go there on Friday. 5:00." he said. "Ummm...let me check my calendar." I joked looking through my phone.

"Oh come on, it'll be fun.

I ended up giving in, I may not know him too well but that's what is for, right? Getting to know each other. Becoming friends. This school may not be so bad after all.

"Michael." the secretary said blankly. "That's my cue." he said before shuffling down the hall, smiling his beautiful bright smile.

The day dragged by. The dean gave me a warning, but that's it. It was finally last period, Language Arts. I entered the classroom and picked a chair in the back. All of the students poured into the classroom and took a seat.

Then I saw him, Michael. His green eyes darted toward me as he took a seat next to me. "Hey." he grinned. "Hi." I replied putting a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Good Afternoon students." The teacher said in a raspy voice. "Im Ms. Greene. Now, I know that this is the first day, but I believe in productivity. So with that said, we have a project due next week." she continued.
