-Hailey's POV-

Great. It's the second day of school and I wake up LATE. I rush out the door wearing my short jean overalls and a white t-shirt. Brown ankle boots and my hair in a braid, a beanie pulled over my head.

I rushed out the door thinking about yesterday. Michael is such a sweet guy. He even walked me home. Today we're supposed to work on our project at my house. We're going to re-create a scene from one of Shakespeare's plays. We are doing Romeo and Juliet because I haven't read anything else and neither has he. But, oh well.

I arrived at school just on time. I ran to my first class, Mrs. Reed, which is Drama. We just did some improv. Then I had ASL (American Sign Language). Soon it was lunch. Yesterday I just ate lunch at the dean's office. I had never been in the cafeteria before, I didn't have a clue where to sit.

I looked around for the boy with blue hair, but I couldn't spot him. I just walked into the line since I was starving, and I took a chicken caesar salad. I turned around and bumped into someone causing me to drop my salad. "Sorry." I said picking up my container. "Oh hey Mich-." I started but didn't continue due to Michael's hair. It was silvery blonde!

"Like my new hair?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows causing me to laugh. "Hey Michael." I continued my last sentence. "Hey." he said. "Wanna sit together?" he asked. "Sure." I said. We sat down on a table and ate our food while joking around, telling each other jokes. Now it was Michael's turn, "Why did the chicken cr" he was rudely interrupted by Bianca the pink haired girl. "Hey babe." she said before attaching her lips to his. Michael seemed greatly uncomfortable. Michael pushed away.

"What do you want Bianca?" he asked coldly. "Baby, what are yo-" she was interrupted. "You know what I mean Bianca, were over , we've been over." he fired back. "It doesn't have to be that way." she said ruffling his hair. "You really want to hang out with her, the fake-" she asked disgusted. "She's not fake!" he exclaimed. "Whatever"-she spat and left us with that. "So...Your ex?" I asked. "Yup." he answered flatly.

We got up to throw out our food . He seemed different. He walked over with a blank expression. Bianca started laughing histerically right before we walked by her table. She was sitting with a jock. Standing up she followed closely behind, tray in hand. I was getting kind of worried. She would obviously try to pull something. I was glad to be less than 10ft away from our table, but it was too good to be true.

"Hey Jasmine", I was stupid enough to turn around. "Oops", Bianca said throwing her tray on me. "I guess I've mistook you for the trashcan, honestly, it's an easy mistake". "You know what Bianca"- Michael started, but he was interrupted, and this time he was interrupted by me. His eyes returned from their blank stare. He was speechless. Because my interruption was not composed of words, it was composed of Bianca's gasp when I covered her in creamy caesar dressing. The world was still for a split second, but only for a split second, because, come on, this is high school.

*FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!*

This didn't last long. Teachers started running in through everywhere, but it wasn't until Michael and I hit the WRONG person that we got caught. The dean.

"You two, in my office, NOW", she spat. And once again, trouble.
