Peace surrounded Fairy Tail. Besides the normal bar fights and arguments with tables and people flying, everything was magical. Celeste settled into the Jack residence after it was declared that Adrian would take over the family business since he was next in line. Turns out during the entire war, Nana Lola was kept hidden in her rundown motel and didn't know anything that happened because H.I.M. kept an quiet protective barrier around the motel, making everything seem peaceful. Lucy and Adrian's relationship grew closer as she would spend time with him if he wasn't busy or on the road. Celeste told her she'll get used to the Jack life sooner or later.

Natsu and Natlynn were basically attached to the hip. If you saw one, the other was right behind. They stayed cooped up in the house for a few days, deciding to finally spend time together before going out into the world. Natsu was extremely grateful that he actually gotten to spend time with Natlynn and was happy that he waited for her. Celeste approved of their relationship, taking a liking in Natsu and Happy.

Natsu sat in the guild bar, watching Natlynn's bright smile and laugh as she talked with the Fairy Tail women. He watched the joy of a free life sparkle in her eyes as her and Lucy talked about their relationship and what Natsu and Adrian had in common. Her smile widen when Levy walked over announcing that Gajeel finally grew the balls to ask her out on an official date instead of missions all the time. He sighed with love sickness with his chin in his palm.

"She's a beautiful pure soul isn't she?" A voice said.

Natsu turned his head to see his mother-in-law smiling brightly at him, watching Natlynn just like he was. "She's always been so friendly and kind but since she was staying with her father, she couldn't show it." Celeste explained sadly.

"I'm just glad she can freely do so now."

"Yeah, me too." Natsu smiled as Natlynn turned his way and sent a small wave.

"It's because of you. You taught her to be free and lie wildly. Thank you." Celeste smiled, putting an comforting hand on Natsu's shoulder.

Natsu returned her smile before giving her a final goodbye when she turned around and started talking to Makarov. He walked over to his excited lover, bouncing with excitement and couldn't wait to hold her in his arms.

"Totally! You should wear that blue checkered skirt I bought you with a white crop top and-" Natlynn was cut short when Natsu wrapped his arms around her shoulders and began kissing on her collarbone softly. Natlynn giggled softly at him before kissing his forehead.

Lucy rolled her eyes playfully at the pair, "Can you two lovebirds quit for a second?"

"Yeah, you're making me feel lonely." Levy giggled.

"Don't worry. You and Gajeel will be like this soon." Natlynn laughed.

Natsu toned out the girl's conversation as he stared at Natlynn. She wasn't the women he met at the ball. She wasn't the women he found again at that motel years later. She was more smart, independent, outgoing, had more backtalk in her. She was more powerful and she was happier. Her happiness glowed on her face and her aura. It spreaded to the people around her making a peaceful air.

God, he was in fucking love.

"Hey, can we go home?" Natsu whispered.

Natlynn nodded before saying goodbye to her friends and walking out with Natsu and Happy hand in hand. They greeted the townspeople on their way to their home in the the forest. She enjoyed their walks together, it reminded her of a little family. A family she hoped to have with Natsu one day in the future with a little boy or girl. She looked up towards her pink haired boyfriend, giving him a sweet kiss on the lips before he gave her his signature sweet grin.

"I can't wait to live the rest of my life with you."

~ timeskip ~

Natsu, Natlynn and Happy stood on the edge of Magnolia, looking at the light filled city as they settled in for the night. The streets became quieter and the only source of life was them. Natlynn looked at the Magnolia with saddened eyes, the memories and moments she spent reminiscing in her mind.

"Happy, you got everything you need?" Natsu asked.

"Aye Sir! I got enough delicious fishies to last me awhile!" Happy smiled.

"Did you make sure to leave the note for everyone at the guild?"

"Yep! Pinned it right on the door."

Natsu looked at the girl, who had a soft smile on her face. He grabbed her hand softly, making her look towards him. He sent her a small smile which she returned.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?"

"Yeah. We'll be back in a few years right?" Natlynn asked softly.

Natsu nodded at her before pulling her and Happy into a hug. No matter what's happened, they always been there. They never been apart and if they were torn apart, they found their way back to eachother. They were meant to be together and they meant to keep it that way.

They locked their fingers together before walking away with Happy flying above them. They didn't look back as they left their old memories. It didn't matter how long they would be gone, this was their home. They knew they would return home someday.
