As the attack at the mall raged on, with the police intercepting, the police, the terrorist and Rain are all stuck are all stuck in a standoff. They kept staring each other down until Rain then tries moving closer.

" Stay right there! Don't move! ", Captain Tsubaki's yell made Rain froze in motion. " If anyone moves, we will open fire! ".

" Oh, fuck this!!! Kill 'em all, men!!!! ", the gang leader yelled and his men opened fire upon the police and Rain.

Bullets were fired and the police hid behind their bullet-proofed cruisers. The citizens ran away in panic while Rain rushed towards the mayhem. This was bad, not only would the police forces  be in danger but this shoot-off would endanger nearby civilians who couldn't escape in time. He steps in between the shoot-off and elbows one of them in the head.

" Damn it!!! ", a criminal lackey fired his gun at Rain.

Rain easily dodged the bullets. He then does a small leap and roundhouses another lackey in the gut. He dashes forward and punches another in the gut. Another lackey rushed at him and tries punching him in the back, but his hand was in pain as if he'd just hit a brick wall.

" AGH!!! ", the lackey screamed in pain as Rain looked at him dumbfounded.

Rain then proceeds to kick him in the crotch. The lackey whimpered and fell onto the floor crying. The shoot-off continued with massive chaos which caused Rain to hide behind a pillar.

" Gabby, on a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is the situation? ", Rain asked his A.I assistant.

" Well........ I'm gonna give it a 11, it's really, really bad ", Gabby's words made him dejected." H-hey! It's okay! Don't get so down in the dumps! ".

" Yeah..... I know. Okay, could you tell me where the leader is? ".

Gabby scans the area through the mask's high-tech interface. " There! He's between the entrance and the fountain ".

" Thanks! ", Rain said as he begins rushing out of his hiding spot.

He rushes through the groups of police and criminals shooting at each other. He then reaches the fountain and jumps over it. The criminal leader turns around and notices Rain behind him. Rain grabs him and judo throws him to the ground.

" Alright, pal! Tell your men to stand down, right now! ", Rain demanded at him however the criminal simply smirked at him.

" What're you smiling 'bout? ".

" You really think you've won? Heh, well your a dumbass ", the leader said confusing Rain. " Look behind you ".

He does so and his eyes widened. Many policemen had guns being pointed at the sides of their heads by the criminal leader's lackeys.

" You better stand down, Red Suit. Or else them police officers will get their heads blown off, get me? ", said the leader.

Rain was conflicted at this point. If he lets him go, the officers will be saved but the criminals will escape. However, If he didn't the officers will be killed. Rain gritted his teeth under his mask, eventually he released the criminal from his grip.

" Now....let them go.. ", Rain said frustrated. The leader slowly walked towards his lackeys and snaps his finger. The lackeys then dropped the officers to the ground.

" You may have won this time, Red Suit....but the boss will soon bring this whole town to the ground ", the leader said as he walked toward their vans. " Let's go, boys ".

" Hey!! I'm not do-WHA?!! ", Rain was then pinned down to the ground before he could do anything else.

" Pin him down! Don't let him move! You guys go after them! Don't let them escape! ", Captain Tsubaki ordered his fellow officers as they pinned Rain down and chased after the escaped criminals. The captain saw Rain struggling and bent down to him.
