"Now Y/N, explain whats going on...how do you know all this?", Diluc said firmly as he looked me in the eyes.

"Will you promise me you won't tell anybody?", I say with a lump of doubt in my throat. Would Diluc keep the secret, or would he inform everyone for the safety of Mondstadt and his own reputation? He was so unpredictable, in game and here. You never knew what he would do next, although something you did know was that whatever decision he made, would be the best for each individual and majority.

"A pinkie promise, you keep it all your life... is that right?", He continues.

"Thats right!", I say smiling towards him, leaning my pinky finger towards his. His hand was much larger, much rougher yet still looked as delicate and soft as ever.

"And if one breaks this promise, they get thrown onto the ice...", He says now reaching his pinky finger towards mine before interlocking with mine.

"The cold will kill the pinky that once betrayed your friend, the frost will freeze your tongue off so you never lie again", you both gently say in unison as you shake pinkies.

"It is a promise then, Master Diluc?"

"Right. No need for formalities.", He answers leaning back slightly in his chair next to mine. "Also that rhyme, it reminds me of something...it's oddly familiar..".

"It may be, and that will all come slightly clearer as I tell you the story", I say with a bit more hope and a bit more relaxation. "Although, I am not sure you will believe me...".

"There is no reason to make such up right? It benefits neither myself, or you.", Diluc mentions.

"I suppose you are right", I say. "Before I arrived here, I was asleep in my bed, in my world of course", you explain. "Technically, I wasn't asleep yet, and I was just lying there trying to sleep, when my vision became clouded and covered with a bright light. It almost felt like I was falling then, yet I knew in my head I was still just in my bed. Well...that is what I thought then. Soon after then, I woke up somewhere near the gates of Mondstadt, confused and scared. I was no longer in my room, and no longer in the same world".

"I suppose you have already come to the conclusion that this is not a dream. I can reassure this of you. I've been all over Teyvat, yet I have not met anyone anywhere near your current situation..how odd..", He questions. "You have told Amber and Kaeya this, right?".

"Sort of, I told them I was from another world. But I hadn't told them anything more in depth.", I say to him careful of my words. When it is about Kaeya, I have to be careful what I say.

"Why is that?", Diluc asks puzzled.

"The answer is found in the next bit of my story. I've told you I woke up here outside the Mondstadt gates somewhere, but I did not tell you that I already knew about this place. This world, these people and their stories."

"So you are telling me you already knew me, and everyone else, except you put on a facade to make it appear as if you hadn't knew anyone?", says the red haired man.

"Thats right", I answer.

"So tell me Y/N, just how much do you know about me?", Diluc tells me intrigued.

"Quiz me", I say smirking before winking at him. "And for every question I get wrong, I will fix you up some Grape Juice using a special recipe from my world".

"Grape Juice huh? I will gladly accept your offer.", he says with a plain clear look of confidence.

"My late father....", Dilucs voice turns cold. "What exactly did he love to paint when I was a child?". "And what was his name".
