It was a cold and stormy night in your hometown. Thunder roared out your bedroom window as you lay cozily in your bed and raindrops pattered on the roof like a billion footsteps. Your parents were fast asleep, but you couldn't get to sleep, your imagination was filled with thoughts of your favourite game. You couldn't help but imagine meeting the characters in real life, I wonder if they would act and talk in the same way? The more you imagined, the sleepier you became and your body began to feel light, almost as if you were floating above the bed like an angel. Your views became black and the sounds of the rain slowly faded with time. Everything was silent, not even a single noise came from anywhere until a bright glow of white shimmered in your view. The fact you were still conscious was frightening. "What is happening and why are all my surroundings changing?", you thought to yourself, as a falling sensation began to build inside of you as the white glow became brighter and brighter and brighter until everywhere you looked was filled with this light.

The bright glowing light slowly turned to colour, green grass, midnight skies filled with colours of denim, crimson and magenta. It was the most beautiful sky you had every seen or witness in your whole entire life, and as soon as you saw it, the panic inside of you disappeared in thin air. Paradise, it looked like, but it also reminded you of something else oddly familiar. "Am I in Teyvat?", you spoke in a whispering tone. You stood up in a hurry to gather your surroundings and also your balance, in the distance was a large looking city, filled with windmills and castle shaped turrets along its walls. Pointed roofs were all you could see from where you were standing, except for a massive cathedral furthest away, slightly behind a statue of a god who looked similarly to that of a bard. "This is Teyvat... that is Mondstadt, I am almost 100% sure of it.", you whispered to yourself again in a quiet tone. You had no belongings on you, nothing from back in your real world, and your outfit had completely changed from your blue striped pyjamas to a white blouse with a black cape sort of thing and a black gold rimmed skirt. These clothes again were nothing like that of your realities. These clothes were far more fantastical and medieval. Compared to your characters in the game, you had absolutely no Mora on you, not even enough to afford a single pepper from the Mondstadt General Store, or a Chicken Mushroom Skewer from Good Hunter. Those being some of the cheapest food items you knew, as-well as the most effective for healing your mains; Diluc and Kaeya.

You headed towards Mondstadt in your new outfit, still suspiciously glancing around in case any Hilichurls happened to be nearby. From your knowledge though, they didn't tend to linger around the city or city gates, and even if they did, the Dark Knight Hero would have killed every last one by now. Plus, dont the Abyss Mages and Hilichurls who are against the Dark Knight Hero only come to plot against him in the nighttime? I can't be too sure, so I better stand my guard. I walked along the brown dusty dirt path, the journey to the city gates was not too far, seeing as I awoke very close to the nearest teleport waypoint. It had me wonder, how did they teleport waypoints actually work in the first place? In the game, it always took you to a loading screen before just showing your character standing in your desired location. There was no strange portal or anything like that. I think I am keen to try using one soon as I can get my head around things. I don't know how I even ended up here in the first place?

The dirt path ended with a bridge outside the main Mondstadt gate, and was larger than what I remembered, perhaps seeing the world in first person meant that everything will be a lot bigger than what I am used to. Small birds gathered in a group around halfway along the bridge. "Timmie...", I said aloud by accident even thought it was night and he isn't there. Dandelions unlike those of my home were fluffy looking, and seemed to be drenched with Anemo power. The were a very pretty teal colour which was memorising to the eyes, a small little boy bent down to take in the smell. Two guards were standing outside the gates on either side of the entrance, they were wearing very similar clothes with a same colour palette of black, white and gold and were both standing in a very upward stance. On their hips were both black swords, placed inside hard metal looking cases. If I managed to get hit several times with one of those, it would mean instant death for me i'm sure. I approached the gate when the two guards stood forward from their still like positions and slowly walked straight towards me.
