The Reason Why [2YEON]

Jeongyeon took a deep breath as she stared at the hall in front of her. She was pretty sure it was late, maybe past midnight. She finally began to wheel herself down the hall, she wasn't sure if she was supposed to be here but she really didn't care, nothing was going to stop her. Especially now, because she finally gained the courage to come here.

She stopped in front of the room.

The door was open, she took one final breath before going in there. She needed to prepare herself for what she was about to see. She wheeled herself in, barely getting use to the wheelchair.

She came to a stop.

Her eyes took in what was before her.

Nayeon laid on the hospital bed; she was hooked with so many tubes and wires. Her face was so scraped up and bruised, she looked completely beat.

Jeongyeon shut her eyes and looked away, preventing the tears from spilling from her eyes. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down from what she had just seen, but a sob erupted from her chest. The tears that she tried to keep from spilling were now streaming down her face.

Jeongyeon managed to wheel herself to the edge of Nayeon's bed. She took her hand in her own and began to cry as she buried her face in the sheets.

"I'm so sorry, baby," She cried, "I shouldn't have looked away...None of this would have happened if it weren't for me,"

The tears continued to flow.

"I swear to god Im Nayeon, you better wake up because if you leave me I'll be damned. I won't be able to do it on my own... I don't want to lose myself Nayeon-ah. I don't want you to leave me...so I am begging you to wake up..."

"You have to wake up soon so you can see our baby. She is so precious...You know Chaeng, Mina, Jihyo, Tzuyu and Dahyun think she looks like you but my parents, Momo and Sana think she looks like me...I think she looks like you...Baby, I named her Yeojin you know, just like you wanted," Jeongyeon smiled slight and wiped the tears from her eyes, "You have to see her. She misses you and I know that it sounds crazy, but I can tell, baby,"

Jeongyeon took a deep breath and kissed Nayeon's hand.

"The first time I held her I didn't want to let her go. I wanna keep holding her. I even asked if they could move her crib inside of my room if possible, how ridiculous is that?" Jeongyeon chuckel and continued, "That was one of the best moments of my life and baby, I swear you need to wake up so you can have your moment,"

There was a moment of silence

"Please wake up, baby," Jeongyeon's voice cracked, "Yeojin needs her mom. We need you,"

Jeongyeon finished tying her Chuck Taylors as Dr. Min and her mom came in.

Part of her was a little happy, but the other part of her was angry and beyond worried.

"Well it's official Ms. Yoo, Both you and your baby are discharged," Dr. Min smiled.

Jeongyeon just glared at him.

"Is something wrong?" Dr. Min asked.

"Here's the thing, both me and my baby are good to go but my fiancée still hasn't woken up. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but you said she should be awake by now," Jeongyeon hissed, "It's been almost a week since the accident and she is still attached to more tubes than I can count, she hasn't woken up!"

Dr. Min nodded in understand, "I understand that you're upset, but there's nothing we can really do about it right now. It's up to Ms. Im's body herself. She had to undergo major surgeries, she lost a lot of blood. She just needs time, a few days,"
