The Reason Why [2YEON]

Nayeon stirred in the spot she laid. She had slept very comfortably last night. She and Jeongyeon had stayed all night on the couch, well at least she had. As she stirred, she couldn't feel Jeongyeon anywhere. Nayeon opened her eyes to find her head on Jeongyeon's lap, while the latter sat there, drinking from a mug, looking over the papers from last night.

"What time is it?" Nayeon mumbled.

"You're awake," Jeongyeon said a little tense.

"Yeah, how long have you been awake?" Nayeon asked.

"A while," Jeongyeon raised her eyebrows, "You were out like a light. I woke up at six to fix my papers and then I left to the company for a few hours. When I came back you were still asleep,"

"You left?" Nayeon asked, in shock, "How did I not wake up?,"

"You know, I would have woken you up but you looked so comfortable," Jeongyeon shrugged.

"What time did you say it was?" Nayeon asked as she sat up.

"It's a quarter till 11," Jeongyeon said.

"11!?"

"Yeah," Jeongyeon nodded.

"Why didn't you wake me up!? We missed the baby's appointment,"

Jeongyeon cleared her throat nervously, "Crap, I knew I forgot something,"

Nayeon sighed, "I'll just have to call and reschedule,"

Jeongyeon swallowed, "Yeah sure,"

"I'm gonna go shower," Nayeon said as she stood up.

"Um yeah, I have to go with back to the company. I'll see you later tonight," Jeongyeon said standing up as well.

"Tonight?" Nayeon stopped, pouting at the girl.

"Yeah, I have to take care of a few things," Jeongyeon said shifting uncomfortably.

"Okay," Nayeon said tiredly as she gave Jeongyeon a quick peck before going into the the latter's bedroom.

Jeongyeon watched as Nayeon disappeared into bedroom. She let out a sigh before clenching her jaw and looking down. Jeongyeon shook her head as she left out the door.

"Hey Jeong," Jiyong greeted Jeongyeon as he entered Momo's house, "Why are we meeting in Momo's house and not yours or the office?" He said, grabbing a few beers from the fridge before plopping down on the sofa where Jeongyeon was.

"I just need some times alone," Jeongyeon sighed, "Momo is visiting her parents, so I asked if I could hang here for a moment."

"You good?" Jiyong asked as he downed a can of beer.

"What are you doing today?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Well nothing, until you called." Jiyong said as he handed her a beer, "I have to work though, tonight,"

"Yeah," Jeongyeon mumbled, nodding her head as she took a swing from the beer.

"What are we doing here? Isn't Nayeon at your house," Jiyong asked.

"Yeah so?" Jeongyeon snapped, "I'm not attached to her,"

"Geez, I was just asking," Jiyong said holding his hands up in surrender.

Jeongyeon sighed in frustration before asking, "Do you have blunt?"

Jiyong raised an eyebrow, "Yeah, in my car,"

"Well bring them out, I need some stress relief," Jeongyeon said as she finished her beer.

Jiyong told her to wait for a few minutes as he went to his car. After exactly 8 minutes, he brought out his pipe, the weed, and a lighter.
