For All Time, Always

I ran through the halls brushing past Minute Men, they did not pay me any attention and I did the same to them.

"Crap, crap, crap." I muttered underneath my breath.

Everything was in chaos, but what would you expect? The timeline splitting after millennia of being one would make things chaotic. I did not care too much about the branching timeline, I just wanted to make sure it did not lead to the death of the people I cared about.

I came across a woman at her desk. I had no idea what she did at the TVA but she had an air of authority, hopefully she could give me some information.

"Excuse me mam, can you tell me where I could find Justice Peace?" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm.

She gave me a puzzled look, "I'm sorry but who?"

"Justice Peace. He is one of the Justices that work for the TVA, I don't know his real name seeing as he is a variant like everyone else at the TVA but... He was one of the Justices that were at my trial a while back before I was let go." Not completely true, I walked out of the TVA after I did not get erased by the ret cannon, but close enough.

The woman shook her head, "I'm so sorry miss, but it does not ring a bell. What is your name?"

"Do you need every title I have or just my name?" I asked.

"I'm afraid that I need all titles as well, to narrow things down if needed."

I sighed, "Fine. My name is Alita Renate, Heir of Cien, goddess of battle strategy, weakness, strength, keeper of names, Queen of Olympus and the seventh Infinity Stone Emotion. Although at the time of the trial I was not the Queen of Olympus. I go by Al, Alita if you have to though."

She typed a little bit on her computer and frowned, "I'm sorry but there is no record here of you ever being on trial. It does say however that you are a new agent of the TVA , you have not been placed in a department yet, and your name has been changed to Alyssa for simplification reasons. It also says you had an accident that affected your brain but are recovering at a good pace."

"I beg your pardon?" I puzzled, "I'm not a new agent and I do not have brain problems thank you very much."

She gave me a sympathetic look, "Of course not dear. How about I have someone come and brief you about what is going on? Possibly take you to your room so you can rest after."

I slammed my hands on the desk, "No, no you are not listening. My name is Al, the reason why I was trying to find Justice Peace is because I'm really trying to find a Loki variant that he took under custody. He was a Loki that not only changed this timeline, but the timeline of another dimension as well. I need to know if he is alive. Please I need to know he wasn't pruned. Could you try and find a Loki that is Loki Friggason? Please."

The woman's gaze focused on something or someone behind me. Before I could turn and see who or what it was, several strong hands grabbed me. I tried to throw them off and was about to see if my magic would work, but I was gently hit with one of those time sticks. By how I was hit it was clear that whoever was apprehending me did not want me hurt, but that meant nothing. I was still helpless. I was in slow motion and a time collar was put around my neck.

"Terribly sorry Alyssa, but you left us no choice." Said one of the Minute Men there to apprehend me, "You are not well and we do not want you to accidentally hurt yourself."

They got me out of slow-mo and righted me before leading me away. No I was not well, but not in the way they thought. I was scared, and if I could not get out of whatever was going on, I would be too late.
