"How was your vacation, Boss?" Fujiwara asked.

Akimi had just exited his private jet and was now putting on sunglasses.

"You know the usual. A few people attempted to kill me, lots of rough sex, even more of that delicious American alcohol, nothing outside of the ordinary." Akimi said with a casual tone, squinting his eyes from the sun and gliding his fingers through his hair, before collecting the glossy white strands to one shoulder.

"Of course, Boss." Fujiwara replied with a strong blush. He opened the car door, allowing Akimi inside before entering himself.

"Talk me through this Shimoda bullshit again..." Akimi asked, clutching his forehead with the tips of his fingers and massaging his temples, his legs crossed.

"He captured our cargo tech, tortured him into spitting out the shipping container's number and location within the port god knows what else he told them, shot the guy, left with his crew immediately, and found the container. Then he blew up the side of the container, melted the lid off the  steel vault inside, and stole the jade. Because he blew up the side of the container, the alarm system didn't go off and the only way we found out it was gone was due to the daily perimeter check."

Akimi sighed heavily. 'And I was only gone a few months....I'm going to KILL that son of a bitch.'

"Im sorry Akimi-san...y-you gave me a job and I j-just screwed it up-" Fujiwara started to cry in frustration. 'STOP CRYING YOU PATHETIC WASTE! HE IS SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!' He internally screamed to himself aggressively wiping his tears away.

"Katsuro, stop." Akimi said quietly, lifting Katsuro's chin with his index finger and leaning within inches of him. He held an intense, serious, expression while the body guard just beamed red.

"Can you predict the future, Fujiwara?" Akimi asked, staring into his eyes.

"N-no-"

"Can you make time reverse?"

"No-"

"Then there was nothing you could have done to save my gems. *he paused still keeping close eye contact* I chose you as my personal guard, which means your job is to keep me safe. Am I hurt, Katsuro-san?"

Fujiwara assessed Akimi's body from head to toe, blushing a light shade of pink. He saw hickeys and other love marks but...He assumed that wasn't the type of hurt he was referring to.

"No."

"Then you did your job perfectly."

Akimi let go of Fujiwaras chin, leaning back in his seat and placing his hands in his lap, now looking out the window.

Fujiwara cleared his throat before correcting his posture, adjusting his tie, and looking out the window with Akimi. 'Okay. I'm ok.' The man told himself.

They arrived at headquarters and exited the car. Every subordinate in sight bowed lightly as Akimi model walked as usual into the building. He didn't walk that way on purpose, it was simply natural to him. He waved his hand in a welcoming manner towards his dogs, expressionless as always.

"Boss, a client is waiting in your office. He entered forcefully. Said his name was Toshio Shimoda?" His secretary spoke normally.

Akimi had decided to keep the Shimoda scandal a secret in order to maintain his reputation so no one else knew his name expect Katsuro, the Cargo Organizers, and himself.

Akimi's eyes widened with every word before all that could be seen was glowing red and pink orbs. His pulse raced and his hands began to shake. A bloodthirsty smile spread wide across his angelic face as he made eye contact with the elevator.
