I sit their quietly as I pluck the grass in front of me and watch the boys play.
It was around 7 and I honestly wanted to go back to Jacks but he was enjoying himself and I didn’t want to ruin that.
I all of a sudden hear the irritating sound of giggling coming behind me.
I hesitantly turn around and see Becca coming over with her friends.
Shit.
Maybe I should just run.
I decide against it as I keep my head down hoping I go unnoticed.
“What is that freak doing here” I hear Becca says to her friends.
I instantly tense as I try to ignore her.
“Come on just ignore her” I hear the familiar voice who stuck up for me last time.
I hear their footsteps coming closer as I try to stop myself from reacting.
“What the fuck are you doing here you ugly freak, can’t you see that no one wants you here so why don’t you fuck off.”
I don’t bother looking up as I slowly stand up and begin to walk away.
I get stopped when someone grabs my hand and pulls me back.
Jack puts his hand under my chin forcing me to look up at him.
He sees my eyes watering as his instantly darken.
He snaps his head in the direction of Becca.
Her face pales but she tries to maintain her not-caring attitude.
He storms over to her and looks down at her.
“I warned you bitch”
Her smug look was gone and the only emotion in her eye was fear.
I quickly run up to Jack and stand in between them.
“Please don’t do this Jack”
“I warned her Cassie, she’s a bitch and she deserves it, why are you even sticking up for her”
“Jack please”
He looks down at me then back up at her with a glare.
“This doesn’t mean I’m not going to make the rest of your high school experience the worst time of your life” He growls before storming off.
I turn around and see Becca still glaring at me.
If you didn’t realise I just stopped Jack even though you were a total bitch.
I decide to ignore her and chase after Jack.
He was currently storming in the direction of his house while muttering angrily to himself.
“Jack calm down.”
“No I won’t fucking calm down, why did you stop me.”
“Because you’d regret it later Jack”
“No I wouldn’t” He grumbles
“Jack…”
“Well she doesn’t have a right to make you upset just because she’s a jealous bitch” he says
I roll my eyes and try to hold back a laugh.
“Why are you smiling?” Jack asks confused.
I don’t say anything but instead stand up on my tippy toes and connect Jack lips with mine.
He instantly reacts as he places his hands on my hip pulling me closer, making it longer then I was meaning it to be.
Things begin to get heated as I slowly pull away.
My eyes widen as I realise what just happened.
“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean-”
He cuts me off by kissing me before pulling away.
“Cassie, just shut up”
“But-” before I can say anything he kisses me again and pulls away.
I open my mouth to talk again but he does the same thing but this time making it longer.
“Okay-I get it-you can stop kissing- me now- I’ll shut up” I say in between kisses.
He pulls away and looks down at me with a smile.
“Nah I don’t think I want to”
I roll my eyes and put my hand in front of his chest to stop him.
“We should get going” I say shifting weight from one foot to the other and looking down..
“You’re so fucking adorable” he laughs at me
“Come on loser” I say grabbing his arm to pull him down the road.
“You know since you’re staying the night we could-”
“Shut up”
“Come on, you were all over me a-”
“If you don’t shut up I’ll personally punch you in the face”
“But-”
I give him a warning look as he instantly shuts his mouth a follows me down the street.
I feel my cheeks heat up as he grabs my hand.
I could get use to this
