Ri Jeong Hyeok glanced at the watch on his wrist and checked the arrival time on the bus station information board. He had done this three times already, that the lady at information booth was looking at him annoyed.

"The bus will come when the bus come, young man" she said, "It won't come faster just because you look at the timetable repeatedly"

Jeong Hyeok snickered and bowed down politely hearing it, then he took his seat back at the hot metal bench lining up at the waiting bay. The day was as hot as it could be in the middle of Switzerland June, and Jeong Hyeok already regretted for not bringing any water on him.

He checked his cellphone, but there was no other text from her. Other than the one he received three hours ago and made him begged permission from Mrs. Choi to cut his shift shorter.

'I'll be home in three hours, please pick me up'

It had him in jittery, but he reckoned it was normal, since he knew what had happened and anticipated what would come. And soon, the bus that he had been waiting arrived. Just like the information lady said, 1.45 at the dot. He waited until the bus stopped and went to the arrival bay. One by one the passengers filled out from the bus and Jeong Hyeok waited patiently; he knew she always liked to sit at the very back of the bus.

When she emerged, with a backpack and three heavy totes that she brought, Jeong Hyeok smiled. She was wearing her shades that covered her entire eyes, and something lurched at his heart. He knew why she did that.

"Seri" he called softly and she turned around. With a big smile, she hastened towards him and put down the totes she carried.

"I know you will come. I'm sorry for the late notice" she said, but didn't take off her shades. They were standing in front of each other for a while, until all the passengers were off and the only persons in the arrival bay were the two of them and the lady in the information booth.

Jeong Hyeok waited patiently until Seri said something, then without warning, Seri threw herself into his arms and sobbed loudly. He sighed and put his hands around her to console her. After a while, her sobs subsided and she put down her shades. As he expected, her eyes were red and puffy around the eye bags.

He gently wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled sadly.

"Have you eaten?" he asked and Seri chuckled sadly. She put the shades to her backpack and walked to the nearest bench. With a sigh, she sat down and shook her head.

"Not since yesterday lunch, I tried to catch the first bus this morning," she then saw the three heavy totes she brought from the bus, "I just had to get out of that place as soon as I can. I already asked some of my friends to pick up the rest of my stuffs"

Jeong Hyeok nodded. He hauled the three totes with him and walked closer to Seri.

"Let's get out of here, first. I already called a cab, it's too hot to walk in this heat" and Seri nodded her thanks. With another sigh, she stood up and walked beside Jeong Hyeok. There was already a cab waiting for them on the station's exit and Seri smiled gratefully.
