time skip

I was getting ready for bed until I heard noises outside of my room it kind of sounded like footsteps, what the hell it's so late everyone is probably sleeping in their beds so who could be outside I thought I then grabbed my wand just in case knowing that I wouldn't be able to use it because of the stupid rule at Hogwarts it's foolish how they think they can keep me from using magic outside of school I thought and then I walked towards my door and opened it I listened quietly until I heard what sounded like drawers being opened and  flipping noises and they all came from that particular room that I told everyone not to go in, shit I thought that room was Salazar Slytherin my grandfather's office the exact place where he kept all his research including dark magic that he discovered powerful spells and the only thing that I wouldn't ever want anyone to find secrets, his office kept many things about the Slytherin bloodline that not even the ministry knows about, lets just say if the secrts got out, things would be different very different I thought as I silently walked over to the room and quickly opened the door  and saw that there was nobody in there but books were opened and so were darwers shit somebody was here but how did they get in I put a very strong spell on this room so that on one could get in or get out without my primisttion fuck what if they saw it no,no,no, that Can't happen I thought

"so this is what's inside the room" I heard a voice from behind me say I turned around to see tom leaning against the door frame

"shit, what are you doing here," I asked in a bit of panic because no one should know about this room

"if want me to be honest I heard noises," he said as he walked past me and sat down on a nearby couch, so he heard then too I thought

"oh umm well you shouldn't be here," I said

"really why is that," he said looking around until his eyes landed on a painting in the room

"oh," he said in an amused tone

"what," I asked

"This is Salazar Slytherins office isn't it," he said looking at me

"I-umm you need to leave now riddle," I said pointing at the door

"you didn't answer the question Slytherin,"  he said

"fucking hell riddle fine it is," I said extremely annoyed he only smirked and he then got off the couch and started walking around the room until he stopped in the fort of my grandfather's desk and picked up one of his journals

"what are you doing get out riddle I'm serious," I said he laughed

"the funny thing is I'm in control now Slytherin, I can go and tell anyone that Salazar Slytherins office still exists, and think about it the ministry would do anything to see his office and find out all of his plans he said smirking at me

"what do you want," I said

"simple just tell me everything," he said folding his hands on the desk

"I can't do that, well not right now," I said

"I see, another time then," he said and moved away from the desk and walked over to the door and then turned around

"Remember Slytherin you're gonna have to tell me everything sooner or later because I'm sure there's something going on in this family of yours and I'm gonna find out what it is" he said clenching his jaw and with that, he walked away

Shit, if my fucking mother finds out that Tom knows about Salazar Slytherins office still existing she gonna kill well she can't really though I thought, I then remembered the reason I was here I quickly went over to the bookshelf, I checked it and everything seemed to be untouched thank god whoever that person was they didn't check the bookshelf which is a good thing because then they don't know about the hidden door behind it.

Tom's pov

I had hidden behind the wall and watched y/n look through the bookshelf it was as if there was something she was looking for inside of it, I was going to watch furthermore until I heard the same footsteps but they came from outside I looked out of one of the windows it was a man he was walking out of the manor and he has that same mask on his face but he looked very familiar I then realized it was him I clenched my fist what does he want and most importantly why was he here I closed the curtain of the window and walked back to my room I'll make sure he won't get what he wants, I pulled out my diary from one of the drawers and started writing in it, Whatever happens, I have to stick to the plan

Y/n pov

I walked out of the office and locked the door, I also made sure I used a stronger charm than I did before and after that, I went back to my room only to find a note stuck to one of my dark art books I decided to open it

He's still awake, what does he even want I thought, I decided to go because I was curious on why he wanted to meet up so late, I grabbed my coat and went outside to the back of the manor as I got to the forest I saw him standing there with his arms crossed from his chest and he was looking at the trees I approached him

"Alright why have you asked to meet up so late," I said which caused him to turn around

"Oh you're finally here," he said

"Yeah, now why am I here," I said

"I thought I'd get to know you more, how about we take a walk in the forest," he said shrugging why is he acting like this I know for a fact he's more of a rude person I thought

"Get to know me? what are you talking about" I said looking at him in a confused manner

"Just follow me," he said, he suddenly held my hand which caused me to stiffen up a bit it felt weird letting some hold my hand it's been a long time since I've let someone do that so I was shocked at first, he only smirked and started walking while holding my hand tightly, I know what this bitch is trying to do I thought, we walked for a little while until we came across a black waterfall we both sat down on some rocks near it I saw Mattheo take a pack of cigarettes out he lit one and gave it to me I gladly took it because I really felt like I needed one

"You know I'm surprised you took the cigarette because last time you threw my cigarette off the astronomy tower saying how you hated it," he said while smoking the cigarette in his hand

"Well that just tells you how fast people can change depending on the time," I said blowing the smoke from my mouth, he chuckled

"It's funny how different you see the world," he said looking at the waterfall

"Yeah I guess I do," I said getting up

"Wait," he said and grabbed my wrist

"Ye- I was cut off by him pulling our lips together it lasted for a second until he pulled out and licked his lips

"See you tomorrow y/n or should I say my fake girlfriend," he said while smirking, he then ran the other way leaving me there shocked, I- what just happened did he just kiss me I thought while I just stood there I didn't think he would take this whole fake dating thing seriously, after a few minutes of me just thinking about what happened I snapped out of my thoughts, I decided walked back to the manor since it was already late as I was walking I saw little splattered of red on the ground as I looked closely I realized it was blood and there was a whole trail of it, I decided to follow it after a few seconds it stopped I looked up and saw a scene that shocked me it was a snake hanging on a tree with a knife stabbed through it's scales but it wasn't just any snake it was Nile my eyes widened there was as long a note stuck to the tree

This is only the beginning y/n there's much more to come

I crumbled the note in my hand who the fuck is doing all of this first someone broke into the office and now they killed Nile who's doing this and what do they even want from me someone has to know what's happening.
