Tales of the Wasteland

Honey Part 12

It has been four weeks since we arrived in Vill's town and I must say it has been one of the best things that has ever happened to us. The Mutties are so nice, they idolize Tyler, every time they see him they call his name in excitement. These Mutties are different from the stories i have heard, they are just like us, they have a school and jobs and all of that. It's a shame that no one else knows about Vill's town just because it's a town full of Mutties doesn't mean it needs to be feared. The way i look at it is if they are civil then they are decent, meaning that they should not be shot at.

On that first night we were here Miles and I walked in on Tyler and Sabina in bed together and to cut a long story short we all ended up fighting. I was angry at Miles for being so sensitive to the situation and then i was angry at Sabina who has just had this vendetta against me since she found out Miles and I slept together after she got taken by Missy (which i think she is partly jealous of Miles and I) So i had a go at Miles and then asked him if he was in love with Sabina or not and he never answered me so i dropped it; then i tried talking to Sabina but she pushes me further away so, yeah i'm lost. Tyler knows i'm not mad at him which is good because then i won't feel guilty when i tell him i'm going to Apple Tree Settlement with the reacting group the Mutties organized.
I have been doing small jobs around Vill's Town and I've almost become as loved and idolized like Tyler. Anyway they were talking about the trip to the city, when i asked if they were going to pass Apple Tree Settlement they said yes, when i asked if i could go they said yes. I enjoy Vill's Town, i really do but i wan't to explore the waste, go to the city and know with my new identity i can do that.

My name is now  Swallow Honeyside. I have a twin brother named Kasper Honeyside which is Tyler. We look that a like so we thought might as well make each other twins. I have no clue what Miles and Sabina are doing with there identity.

Miles and I are taking our relationship slowly, kissing now and then and well after a big party that the Mutties dedicated to us we did end up in bed together again. I don't really know what else a relationship is meant to be like because truth be told i have never really loved anyone as much as i have loved Miles.

"Tyler." I suddenly say out of the blue while we are sitting outside in the middle of town doing nothing in particular. He was playing chess with Eal before he had to leave for his gate watch shift. Tyler still sitting in front of the chess board on the edge of the dried out fountain of horses. He looks up at me with his crystal blue eyes, i have always been jealous of his eyes. "I'm leaving for Apple Tree settlement in a few days and i just wanted to tell you." His facial expressions change to this concerned look.

"What? How are you getting there? More importantly why?" He turns his whole body to face me.
"I'm going to tag along with the recruit group and get off at Apple Tree Settlement. Don't worry Eal said he would help me out with getting a weapon." I get a little sad. I'm in the midst of morning over gran-mamea's knife which Hayden and Dex stole off me when they caught us four weeks ago.
"Why are you going?" He asks saddened "Why not stay here and live your life with Miles and Sabina and your brother? Why leave this all behind?"
"I don't know Tyler. I have wanted to explore the Wasteland ever since i moved to Westwide but something always stopped me. Work or mum and dad or whatever. But know it's different. I'm free. Yeah Hayden is still out there but after i get to Apple Tree Settlement i'm thinking of hitching a ride with a trader and head up to Vegas or Chicago."

"Okay but i have one question." He puts his index finger up representing his one question "What about Miles? What about me and Sabina?"
"That's your own decision but i'm not only telling you this to let you know. Well it's more of a request to see if you want to come with."
He pauses glaring into space. I patently wait. "Okay. Yeah" He nods "I'm in. Lets go to Vegas." He says enthusiastically. I tell him all he needs to know, the time we are leaving, what to bring, who to talk to all of that. I am working myself up to telling Miles, Tyler is going to ask Sabina. I have it all planned out. I'll ask Miles tomorrow morning before he gets up and dressed. His mind works better in the morning, also Tyler might have an answer from Sabina by then too.

My plan was completely ruined when i woke up early the next morning vomiting up my meal i had the night before. Miles watches sweetly rubbing my back as i go to regurgitate. I sit up after flushing the toilet (a really good part about Vill's town is that it has clean running water.) thinking i have gotten food poisoning from the meal but Miles had the same meal and he looks fine. Maybe i'm getting sick. Miles sits with me on the bathroom floor with no shirt on and barley any pants on.
"Well there goes my plan." I say to myself.
"What plan?" He laughs.
"Miles i wanted to ask you to come with me."
"Okay. Where are we going?"
"To Apple Tree Settlement. Tomorrow with the recruit group. We are going to be in a carriage surrounded by heavily armed Mutties. It will only take a few days."
"Honey." He sighs in shock "I love you, i really do but what is with the late notice? We are still being hunted by that lunatic and that other lunatic. Why do you want to go out there? Even with new identities they will never stop looking for us." He just said it. I love you. Or maybe it was just taken out of context, i don't know if it still counts so i don't get too exited but i do smile and grab his hand.
"Miles. Let me finish. Tyler is going to ask Sabina. So there is one question answered even though you didn't ask it. Also we won't be staying at Apple Tree for too long. Maybe three or so weeks and then we are going to Vegas." He grips my hand and gives it a squeeze waking me up for sure.
"Okay. I will come with you."
Excitement rushes through my body and i jump on him giving him a bear hug and then kissing him. He kisses me back and well....
We are doing this. I know Tyler will convince Sabina some how. Our new lives start as soon as we head out of those gates tomorrow morning. I will be called Swallow Honeyside and Tyler's will be Kasper Honeyside. We will be the Honeyside twins.
