At the palace

Princess Sophia regained consciousness and everyone was happy about the sudden development, the news spread like wide fire, her father made sure she was under close observation, he was worried about her so he wouldn't want that to repeat itself, the king called special physicians to check up on her daily, yes daily he wouldn't want any harm to come near his precious princess-the heir to the throne.
  
   On a cool day Princess Sophia decided to take a walk around the garden-her favorite spot, with her maids following behind her. She sat down looking at beautiful flowers. How much she had missed this she thought to herself. She talked to her maidens about the recent happenings in the palace, when a sound interrupted them.

  'What's happening over there?' Sophia asked her maidens.

' Arthur is being punished, he was asked to cut down the unwanted tree in the farm yard.'
   'And who may this Arthur be?' she asked confusingly.

' He is the young man who abducted you' another maiden said knowingly.
 
All maidens turned to look at the maid who just spoke.
 
  'I was abducted?' the princess said out loud, I must find out why he abducted me.' she said in attempt to stand up.

One of her maidens held her by the shoulder 'You can't go alone my princess  I'll come with you.' the maid insisted.

'Why didn't anyone make mention of this to me?' she said looking at her maidens.

'I'm sorry my princess but the king made us not to say a word to you until you are fully recovered.' she said facing the ground.
 
'Do I look sick to you now?, what else are you not telling me?. she said angrily.
 
'We were attacked by some men and they took you hostage for weeks, the king ordered the guards to search every house till they found you in the custody of Arthur.’ She said.

'How sure are you that he was involved in this?’ she said in a thinking manner.
 
'News had it that the guards were at his house and he refused to open when they asked him too.’

'This should never be heard of, you don't keep things which are of important to me secret, do I make myself clear?'

'Yes, my princess.’ they said.

The maids prostrated before the princess, she was accompanied by one of her maids to meet Arthur.
 
  Arthur was in full view of the princess and she thought why would a young guy looking so innocent and handsome do this to her, she met the guard in charge of Arthur’s punishment and asked.
' What crime has he committed?' Princess Sophia asked.
' My princess he had you in his custody for days, he abducted you.’ The Matthew answered.
'I want to have a word with him, you can go now' she said looking over to Arthur.
' My princess you can't go there, the king gave us strict warnings.'
  'I said leave' the princess demanded.

  The guards gave a bow and left Arthur and Princess Sophia to talk alone.
She walked towards Arthur and admired his strength and agility, he stood facing the tree as beads of sweat find its way down his body. Sophia noticed this movement and was speechless for few seconds before she found her words.
'Why did you do it?' she said standing behind him.
'I don't seem to understand what you mean.' He said still facing the tree.
' Why did you abduct me?, what did I ever do to you to deserve that punishment.'
Harry said nothing.

'Indeed nothing we did nothing to you but you kidnapped me in return, I don't even know why I'm here talking to you.' she said turning to leave but hesitated

'You'll have to cut down all the trees without food or water that's for wasting my time'. she said as she turned to leave.

'Wait' Arthur said turning to  face her.
He told her everything that happened.

'Why should I believe you now?' Sophia said.

' I didn't tell you for you to believe me, you asked and I gave you the right answer, believe what ever you want' he said as he continued his punishment.
 
  Princess Sophia left with so many thoughts running through her mind, she didn't know who to believe.
