Chapter 16 (3 months later)

I'm now 8 months pregnant, my belly is huge. I stay in bed because I'm to tired to do anything. Remi brings me breakfast in bed, I now sleep down stairs on the fold out beds. He brings me toast and a cup of tea, he eats with me. We arrived at the town Bermount yesterday, the big and strong people set up the fair.
"We are going baby shopping today Blu" Remi says.
He gets me out of bed and tells me to wash and get dress, I go to the shower and wash and get ready and dressed.
We go into town to a baby shop that specialises in everything baby's need.
We buy 4 jumpsuits a one size bigger then they might be, a double cot that folds up, 2 baby car seats, lots of diapers and a 5 bras specially for breastfeeding and a baby monitor.
We return home with the stuff, we got help from a few friends of course.
Then we set up the cot and car seats and puts the jumpsuits in a draw.
Remi makes Mac and cheese for lunch and half way through my stomach starts feeling weird, I stand up and my waters break.
"Remi" I say worriedly pointing at the water. "I've gone into labour"
"I'll go get Nova she's delivered most of with no failures, except for one babie that died at birth" he says.
Remi yells at his mom to fetch Nova, he sits down next to me and holds my hand.
"I can one head poking out" Remi says.
Giving birth is tiering, it takes 5 hours for the twins to come out.
It's a boy and a girl, I name the girl Valentine and the boy Valiant.
They have big blue eyes and brown hair. Both little angels.
The cord is cut. Valentine and Valiant . I hold them for an hour madly in love with both of them.
"Can I hold them please Blu?" Remi asks.
"Just be careful " I say handing him the twins.
I go get washed and changed, if I was still in care my babies would've been whisked away with no chance of bonding. But I'm here and I am happy and I should really get fit.
I take back my babies and Remi and Nova clean up the labour mess.
I put Valiant and Valentine in the cot, well I set up the play pen.
"We should go to the hospital to check...." Remi starts saying.
"No" I say completely cutting him off.
"Okay " Remi says. " But we do need to have a birth certificate Blu"
"Fine" I say we drive the wagon to the hospital, luckily this town has one.
I hold Valiant and Remi holds Valentine, we walk into the hospital I feel like yelling that I gave birth 2 hours ago. But instead we get lead to a room to full out the birth certificate.

"Remi who's the father? Do I put you or him" I say.
"Who's the biological father dear?" The nurse says.
"A man, who is my stepdad because he raped me" I say bitterly.
"well your boyfriend adopt the kids to make him the father." She says.
I tell her to put

We both sign at the bottom.

I am sooooooooo happy.

The next few days pass quickly but with some sad news, today is Christmas Eve and when I woke up the first thing I did was check on the babies, Valentine was dead.
