Chapter 5

"Do I look like a weakshit that needs a backup?"

As you smirked the Sakros were angry, "Are you calling us weak, little girl?" One asked, making you laugh and float towards them. You stopped laughing and went into a serious face, "Yes, yes I am"

And with that, you attacked the creatures. You were giving them a hard hit, dodging with their every strike. You would chuckle whenever they could never get a hit, you were enjoying their expression when they were angry at you. 

"Oh come on now big guys. Just earlier you were teasing me when you hit me~" You mocked them as you punched one of them strong enough to fly away. 

You were starting to get bored and decided to finish it. You snap your fingers to cast a spell, "Lampi". They lost their eyesight for a moment and they accidentally punched each other. 

"Incinerate" you cast again and teleported away as they exploded in the air. Making your way to Calli's apartment, with a few scratches from the fight, you saw that the holomyths were there. 

"Well, now that you're all here. This world is now in danger," you said before you passed out. 

[Calli's POV]

I caught [Y/n] before she could fall on the floor, carefully laid her on the couch, and processed what was said earlier and at the fight. 

"Is what [Y/n] said true, then we must use our powers again... well, some of us" Gura said and looked at Ame, the only human with us. 

I sighed as I looked at [Y/n]'s state and went to search for my medkit. While I tried to get it, I was told the girl what had happened to the fight, and about me being a vessel. 

"You? A vessel? On what?" Ame asked as she tried to piece everything together. 

"I don't know either, Ame. She hasn't told me what those creatures were talking about, but I'm sure it's up to no good based on her reaction." I said as tend [Y/n]'s wounds, it was a lot. 

'What happened after she teleported me?' I asked myself as I looked at her wounds. 

Ame called me making me look at her right away. Saying she may have an idea about the vessel thingy.

"This is just a theory, okay? Maybe those creatures need you, to unlock some sort of thing to make them conquer this overworld. I don't know what, possibly a blood, a body part, or even... your life."

With her explanation, it finally all made sense to me now.

"Death-sensei wouldn't send someone to take care of me if it's not something I can't handle. Knowing [Y/n], she's a lot stronger than me, so I know Death-sensei wouldn't send her here without a reason."

I told them as I was clenching the towel that I used to tend [Y/n]'s wounds. "We already answered that question, but my question right now is, how strong [Y/n] really is?" 

"I've seen her fight but I knew she was holding back, plus I never saw her use her full power. Not even once when we were kids."

I mutter to myself as I had a flashback about the fight she used to do back then just to protect be. 

"All the fights she ever had back in the days were all playful. Never once serious." I told them, as I noticed [Y/n]'s body started to move again.

[Y/n's POV]

I started to wake up and noticed that the girls were circling me, "Right, I have a lot of explaining to do"

I said out loud which made Ame answer, "We just need you to confirm if my theory is correct" 

I looked at her with confusion, "Do those creatures need Calli's blood, body part, or life to do something with this so-called her being a vessel?" Ame asked me. 

So Calli told them, "I'm not exactly sure what they need on Calli, but all I need to do is to not let them take her"

That was the only answer I could give them, I couldn't tell them the whole truth. I can't, they'll freak out. 

Well, that's what I thought. Kiara summoned her sword and pointed it on my neck. "I want the TRUTH" she threatened me. 

Calli tried to stop her, saying I could hurt Kiara if she didn't remove the sword. But her words surprised me. 

"No Calli, I can't just sit here and have my girlfriend get hunted down by some freaks like that and her not telling us the truth"

I was right, Kiara and Calli do have a relationship together. Well played then heh, "Alright, I'll tell you, just lower your sword already."

Kiara lowered her sword, making me breathe for a few seconds, and went to discuss it with them. 

"Calli is the vessel, they need her to open the portal, the cage to be exact. They want to set all the Sakros free. Including their God, Kujin, was the one who created the Sakros. The one that spread the curse. It was him. Calli was the perfect vessel, that's why after Calli was born, they tried to find her but were unsuccessful because Death-sensei found her first." 

After my explanation, they were all speechless. Too shocked to even move an inch. 

"You knew all this time but never told me?" Calli said she was disappointed, I could already tell. 

I sighed and licked my lips, "Well, what am I supposed to tell you that time? That you were a vessel of an evil God? You were frightened when you found out that the one that would betray you was a "trustful" friend of yours, what more if you found out that you're a vessel of an evil God?"

I explained my side to her because I didn't want this to be a misunderstanding between the two of us. Luckily, Kiara agreed with me. 

"She's right Calli, you'll freak out too much if you ever found out about that at a young age. Y/n has the right to hide it from you to protect you at that time."

Calli was still processing, so I took my time and went to plan for a few things.
