Hiya! C:
-PLEASE READ-
So I wrote this super short story because of an English assignment last year for creative writing which was based upon, 'the unexpected' and decided to post it on here.
I don't know if I'll continue this story/chapter as I haven't planned it whatsoever, and, as you just read, this is all I've written plus a little bit of editing. So I'm not promising anything.
And as a side note, please don't be shy or afraid when commenting about... Anything. I welcome all comments with open arms and a huge smile. I promise you, I won't bite.
(Because honestly, I think it's one of the best feelings ever, seeing someone comment on your own book, even if it's only a small or random one)
So if I did make a mistake or if something should be fixed, and what would be better and why, or even how I could improve on this story anywhere, then please say. You would be doing me a HUGE favor if you did. And it could literally be anything! From the use of punctuation to how little or much detail I should say in here, there or anywhere. Honestly, anything. (As long as it's professional and you're sure about the mistake)
-ALL CRITICISM IS WELCOMED BUT ONLY IN A KIND MATTER. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WHEN COMMENTING-
But I'm pretty easy anyway so a smiley always works to get the point across as clear as day that you're being kind and helpful ;D
But anyway, I hope you enjoy!

I sharply swerve side to side, the fresh cold breeze swirling around me, hitting me directly in the eyes and making my vision go slightly blurry, but I still notice that we're about to plummet thirty or so metres down. I could hear my heart thumping louder in my chest as I reached my sweaty hand over to my right side and grabbed her hand, squeezing it with all I had. Then, for a few mere seconds, (which felt like forever) we lose gravity. I tighten the hold I had on her hand, (if humanly possible) and let out a deafening scream as we fall, diving head first at who knows what speed, before slowing down and coming to an abrupt stop, with my heart still racing like I've just ran a marathon.
"Oh my gosh! That was definitely my favourite ride today!" My best friend, Blair, shrieks in delight as she interlocks her fingers together and bounces up and down in her seat, making her wavy, dark brown hair slowly cascade around her visible, bony shoulders and her light chocolate eyes light up and sparkle.
It was her sixteenth birthday last week, but we couldn't do anything special because she had a horrible fever and was incredibly sick, she even had trouble eating and had lost a lot of weight because of it and slept most of the day anyway. So, I decided that for her (late) birthday, we would go to a theme park this week to celebrate instead, one of her absolute favourite things to do.
"That was so fun! Well, apart from when I thought I was going to have to get my fingers amputated because of the lack of blood going through them, thanks for that by the way." She says sarcastically but still has a playful smile on her lips, shaking her hand as if to get the blood flow running again. I only then notice that her long pale fingers are slightly tinged with purple.
I laugh remorsefully, while awkwardly scratching my lightly tanned arm. "Whoops?"
"Whoops? That's all you have to say?" Blair tries to look frustrated and serious but I could tell it was getting harder, as she was fighting off a smile that was tugging up the corners of her mouth. "Oh, so if one day I accidentally killed you, Lea, I'm going to go to your funeral and be like, 'Whoops'." She says with a shrug of her shoulders as if it didn't really matter if she "accidentally" killed me. But I know she's not being serious, Blair is hardly ever serious.
