Nine months ago we slipped up and had sex while I was in heat. Eight months ago we found out I was in fact pregnant. Now at eight months we were finishing everything in the nursery. I was slightly panicked about the whole labor situation, but whenever I would start to stress my partner would calm me down and assure me that every would be alright.

I finished folding the last outfit for the baby's hospital bag and slid it into the bag. I then sat down in the rocking chair. Conveniently located in the corner of the room. I watched my parted fold a few more little outfits putting them away and then put away the baby's blankets.

"Thanks Kohaku" I said softly taking a small break off my feet. Kohaku nodded and kissed the top of my head before he slid the baby's bag right beside my hospital bag. I shut my eyes for a minute to relax a bit. I was about to complain about my foot aching just as Kohaku started to rub them.

"Thank you" I said softly with a slight hum. Much had changed since I'd been with Kohaku. I had become a bit more mellow, I was still aggressive towards anyone else. Plus I wasn't as focused on being number one anymore. Which helped a lot with stress. Now

"Now. Just to make sure you get it through your stubbornness. You tell me if and when you get contractions" Kohaku said snd continued to rub my feet. I rolled my eyes a bit and sat back.

"I will I will" I said not thinking much of it. The rest of the night was pretty chill. We had dinner, took a nice Luke warm bath together, then we watched a movie. As the movie was starting to end I felt a weak cramp towards my lower back. Suffering from terrible Braxton Hicks, I pushed it to the back of my mind and moved on. After the movie ended we crawled into bed and started to just talk for a bit. I talked until I fell into a light sleep. It was an uncomfortable sleep that didn't last long enough. When I checked the clock it had only been two hours. But the cramps I pushed to the back of my head were starting to pick up. I rested a hand over my large bump and sighed. I heard a grumble and get warm arms wrapped around me.

"Babe?" Kohaku's raspy voice sounded in my ear as he rested his cheek on the back of my head.

"Just moved wrong. Go back to sleep" I assured him and let out a yawn. I heard him make a quiet noise and then quiet snores. I smiled a bit at that and pulled his arm close gently hugging it. I slowly slipped back off to sleep. This time the sleep lasted a bit longer, but when I woke up I knew I would stay up. It was still early. But it was bearable. I felt an even stronger cramp that caused me to curl up a bit. I slowly got up and went to the bathroom. I did my business before I felt a gush of liquids. At first I wasn't sure what to do so I froze in place. Bit after a few seconds I came to my senses and yelled for kohaku. Within seconds he was up and at the door. He looked down at me and quickly started asking me a million questions. I answered a few before yelling out in pain as I felt our baby's head start to slide down. Kohaku helped me into our bathtub and turned the water on to a nice temperature. I waited until the tub was full and shut my eyes. Kohaku held my hand and sighed.

"Sweetie. I have to check you" He warned before he did so. I let out s whimper when he spread my legs a bit. I let him do what he needed but luckily I could already feel the baby's head crowning.

"You need to push. It's crowning" Kohaku said snd gave me a kiss to the temple. I nodded snd gripped the sides of the tub. I started to bare down and push. It went slow. The baby's head was bit. And the pain was overwhelming. I couldn't help by cry out in pain. When the baby's head did finally clear Kohaku took my hand and guided me to the baby's head. I felt it a bit before I started pushing more. Kohaku kept encouraging me and rubbed my shoulders. I kept pushing grunting as the baby's shoulders started to push their way out. I let out a scream of pain when I felt my opening tare. I let tears fall down my cheeks and took a few minutes to catch my breath. I went back to pushing wanting it to be over with. After a few more rounds of pushing Kohaku pulled out baby onto my chest.

"It's a little girl" Kohaku said snd grinned. I looked down at her snd started to sob. I held her close and took a towel from Kohaku cleaning her gently. Then there was knocking. Unknown to us, a neighbor had called the emergency numbers for us and an ambulance was outside for me and the baby. We got loaded up snd taken to the hospital. Thankfully Kohaku got to ride with and held my hand. I got cleaned up while the baby got her exam done. When everything was done we were put into a recovery room and left alone to be a family.

"I think she's perfect. You did so well Kat" Kohaku said softly and kissed my cheek. I shook my head and leaned against him.

"Well little Hima was worth it" I said snd held out little one. She was so adorable with her dad's brown hair and my face. She had my eye shape and we would later find out she had my eyes. She was adorable if I do say so myself.
