"Zhongli, C'mon!" I said and laughed. He was hugging me. He just chuckled and wrapped his arms around me. I felt his hands rest on my large stomach.

"Are you ready to meet him?" He asked me and smiled. I thought for a moment before replying.

"Beyond ready. I want to meet the little reason I got sober" I joked the last bit and turned around to hug him. Zhongli and I had been together for years. Eight months ago we found out we were having a baby. Of course we had a lot of life changed, and life style changes, since then. When I reached my fifth month of my pregnancy we were both beyond thrilled when we found out it was a boy. From day one Zhongli had made a deal over names. So. Our baby was going to be named Xiao.

Currently we were relaxing. We'd finished the nursery just today. The clothes were all tucked away, the diapers were packaged and out, the crib and other furniture were set up and even the walls had been painted. The nursery looked perfect. But the credit went Zhongli. He was the one who helped pick out the things.

"Is xiao napping? He's not really kicking" Zhongli mumbled a bit as he rubbed my stomach. I just have a slight shrug.

"One way to find out" I joked. I sat down and put my guitar on my lap. I manipulated it so I could play it. I started to play a lullaby and waited. Normally Xiao would kick or squirm. But he stayed still his feet pushed against the top of my stomach.

"Napping" I told Zhongli and continued to play. He nodded and sat down. He kissed my cheek humming softly. I smiled at him and continued to strum the strings of the guitar. After a bit I got bored. I set the guitar down and wondered around our house finding something to do. Of course a cramp caused my mind to stop for a moment. But once it passed I went back to finding something to do. I finally found it by sorting out baby clothes. I started to pack the hospital bag just having a gut feeling. I felt another cramp and bit my lip. I debated on telling Zhongli.

"Hey Ven... I'm going out okay? I'm going to go get some tea with Childe" Zhongli walked in snd looked at me. I looked at him.

"Uh.... babe I'm getting cramps. I don't know if it means anything but..." I trailed off and stopped talking. Zhongli walked over and hugged me. He kissed my cheek and nodded.

"Then I'll stay in and help you" he said softly. I nodded and handed him a few outfits I wanted to bring to the hospital for Xiao. When we finished packing his bag and whole other pain washed over me. I gripped Zhongli's hand and groaned in pain.

"Venti?" He asked me as he rubbed my back. I waited until the pain left for now. I gripped his hand and frowned.

"Contraction" I told him. He nodded snd helped me to our bed. I got comfortable and rubbed my stomach. Zhongli laid beside me and rubbed my back.

"Try to nap. You're going to need your rest" he said softly into my ear. I nodded and yawned.  Fifteen minutes after I started to fall asleep. I slept. I didn't really feel or see anything as I slept.

"Hey ven. Wake up. You need to eat" I heard Zhongli whisper in my ear. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him.

"You just told me to nap..." I mumbled to him sitting up.

"Yeah. That was five hours ago. And I've been watching your contractions. They're very close" Zhongli told me. I nodded a bit and rubbed my stomach. I sighed a bit feeling how low xiao was.

"Okay. Food?" I asked as he handed me a plate of food. I started to eat it and smiled. I then felt a contraction which caused me to freeze and gripped Zhongli's hand. When it was over I ate my food again. When it gone I had gotten two more contractions. I then felt a bad contraction that caused me to whimper in pain. Zhongli helped me up and got me changed. I held onto him and waited. When yet another contraction hit i grunted snd shook my head.

"Go. We need to go" I told him and frowned. I was feeling Xiao's head getting lower and lower. Zhongli quickly grabbed everything we needed and rushed me to the hospital. When we got to the hospital I was waiting to get signed in. I gripped the counter standing with Zhongli. Zhongli was trying to get my signed in. The nurse wasn't listening and kept telling us to stop joking. I frowned and looked at the woman. She rolled her eyes and frowned. I then felt a gush of liquids down my legs.

"My water just broke" I told them. The nurse rolled her eyes. A doctor ran over and helped me to a room. I got into the bed with their help. I panted and frowned feeling the baby push down even further. The doctor pulled my pants and boxers off checking me.

"Start pushing. You got an eager little baby" the doctor told me. I gripped Zhongli's hand snd started pushing. I felt the baby's head continued to push out.

"You're doing good" Zhongli said softly. I gripped his hand and pushed yet again. I got the baby's head cleared and felt his shoulders get stuck. I grunted in pain and shook my head. The doctor moved xiao a bit and nodded to me. I nodded and started pushing grunting in pain. I yelled out in pain as I felt the baby's body slide out. He was silent. But after seconds he started sobbing. The doctor checked him over. After a few minutes I was handed my baby. I looked him over and went wide eyed. He was so cute. After a few minutes he calmed down snd settled in my arms. Zhongli pet his cheek grinning.

"He looks like you ven" he said softly and smiled. I felt him kiss my head snd chuckled. I grinned snd held xiao.
