High school, some may ask my perspective on the whole high school experience, well mine isn't anything most people consider fun.

I don't do drugs,smoke,drink,party,hell I can't even drive but what I do is my homework along with a few others, I study over the weekend, I get projects done months before it's even assigned.

Don't ask me how, I have my sly ways. I think I'm using that word correctly.

And I definitely am not a social butterfly.I have one friend and she's been my friend through everything, her name is Eden Smith.

I sighed as my mother pulled up in front of the school "are you sure you want me to go back to school so sudden after everything that happened yesterday?"I inquired curiously, they couldn't possibly want me to go back already, think of all the dangers they could go through when I'm at school, I mean I hate to think about it but they could die by the time I get home.

"I'm sure sweetie, me and your father will be just fine"She exclaimed leaning over to kiss my forehead,"by the way Lia, me and your father are going back on that business trip we postponed after we found out Scott was out of jail"I was about to ask her when, but she must have read my mind"Tonight, we'll be gone by the time you get out of school"

They're leaving me, now!! I mean for goodness sakes they were just held at gun point by my demented uncle, and now they're leaving me alone, and the world's greatest parent's award goes to...Catherine and River Dawson, the crowd claps loudly, just kidding, I'm the only one in the crowd and I'm not clapping.

"Lia, nothing's going to happen to you, alright.River and I are setting up a house security system"She declaimed. I sighed and hugged her tightly"I love you mom"I uttered.

She hugged back"I love you too,sweetie"She said pulling away,"Tell dad,I love him too"I recited.

"I will"She paused"Now go, you're gonna be late"She said pushing me out the door.

I smiled at her weakly before turning around and strolling into the school, approaching my locker, twisting the combination around and opening it.I took the books that I needed for the first few periods.

"Hey Lia"Eden said coming up to me"Hey E, what's up?"I asked turning around to face Eden.

Eden:short with red hair and dimples, she had green eyes and wore big glasses that practically covered half of her face along with maternity clothes.Yes, maternity clothes!! She's not pregnant, nor has she had her first kiss yet but the reason behind her ridiculous taste of fashion is she claims they're comfortable.

STILL, WHO OUR AGE WEARS MATERNITY CLOTHES??!!!

"Never mind me"she stated waving it off"did you see the hot new kid?"she asked pointing behind her.

I glanced behind her and chuckled looking back at Eden"Wesley, yeah I've met him he's my neighbor"

I chuckled looking at her reaction her jaw fell to the ground as she stared at me in bewilderment.

"LUCKY!!"she hollered. I shook my head laughing silently as I grabbed her arm and pulled hew towards Wesley.

"Hey Wesley"I said smiling, he turned to look at me"why are you talking to me?"he asked, I was trying to figure out if he was joking or not but the seriousness of his voice made me realize that he was he wasn't joking.

I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out"You know what nevermind, don't answer that"He recited slamming his locker door shut and walking away.

What the hell has gotten into him

I don't know, but we have to figure out what
